On December 21, 2025, we had the honor of transforming @ronaldmoten historic @thegogomuseum into a space filled with laughter, love, community, and holiday cheer for the 5th Annual A December to Remember Holiday Charity Event 🎄✨ Families enjoyed free gifts, food, barbering, braiding, nail services, hot chocolate, and hands-on STEM activities for the kids. Children captured memories with Santa, and even the Grinch stopped by to spread a little extra joy. This was truly one of our most powerful events to date. We are deeply grateful to our continued partners whose commitment and support help make this event possible year after year. A special shoutout to @bigg_indc , @4dmvkids , @creating__safe_space , @positivechalkdc , @black_egyptian_dc_market_place our CapeTown DMV members (@hairbraiding_by_anne @black_world_order @chasimnl @dmvstar_ @m.saditty @pablodaughterr @escocutz ) and the many volunteers who showed up and showed out—handling setup, flow, management, and cleanup before, during, and after the event. We genuinely could not have done this without you. Together, we were able to serve 100+ families and over 250 children—a true testament to what community looks like in action. We also want to extend a heartfelt thank you to @lottsofluvdc for providing engaging STEM experiences that created hands-on moments filled with curiosity, creativity, and joy. Five years strong. Still serving. Still giving. This is community. 💛 #DecemberToRemember #CapeTownDMV #CommunityInAction #HolidayGiving #Ward8DC 5YearsStrong ServiceWithLove
