A Wild Constellation Part 2

Sharing with our Zuka team, our neighbours, partners and so many of the people who form the vast human matrix connected to Zuka in a myriad of ways.

Spanning 25 years, the film traces our story back to its earliest days, and the original flame from which so much has since constellated.

To share Zuka’s origin story with this audience – all of whom are a part of the story themselves - was especially meaningful.

@thecogmans.run 17 🥇 shared with @brandonjkeeling

So stoked to finally get involved in this event, it is growing rapidly and what a privilege it is to race on the stunning trails!

It was so special to share the top step and the route with Brandon, pushing each other on that course, then the finish line celebrations were that much sweeter when @didier.devilliers came charging in to claim third!

Shoutout to @hoka.southafrica and the speedgoat 7 which ate up the technical trails of Montagu. Thanks to @openfuel fur fueling me with the most potent rocket fuel on the market

Thanks for the awesome shots 📸 @starting.tosee

Whenever I get gloomy with the state of the world, I think about the @thecogmans.run finish line.

It seems to me that love is all around.

Sons riding their bikes with dad.
Dogs leap at owners.
Proud grannies standing in anticipation.
Daughters waiting to see mom.
Friends cheering each other on.

Everyone is conscious of the true human achievement of the Cogmans route.

Everyone can run WILD + FREE

Our favourite capturer of human connection @starting.tosee ❤️

Bringing people together to do hard things, that’s what Cogmans is all about. And ending it off with champagne showers of course!

A BIG shout out to our favourites @aabadenhorst and @saldanha_wine_and_spirit_co for making the finish line celebration that little bit sweeter. 🍾

PEOPLE /// It takes a village to host a trail race and it takes a village to run one.

Judging by these faces, we’d say we’ve got a pretty good one. 💛

If you know Aasvoëlkrans, you know. Maybe there’s a reason it’s nicknamed vultures rock?

It’s all loose gravel and a steep uphill, but the reward is sweeping views over Montagu before diving into some downhill.

Did you dance or slog your way to the top?
