Had a great trip to Buffalo with my folks. My dad is from Buffalo and many generations on the Startt side of my family spent their lives in western NY.

It was awesome to see the Bills (my dad’s team & my other team), beat the Ravens, and to get the full Buffalo football experience (cold, wind, snow). The more extreme the conditions, the more I enjoy it. Weird? Maybe.

The highlight of the trip, however, was getting to ski with my mom at Holiday Valley. I’ve skied since I was 3 years old and most years growing up, we’d take a family ski trip.

My mom was diagnosed with leukemia in 2012 & by the grace of
God and through the brilliance of a number of incredible doctors, had a successful bone marrow transplant in 2013.

One thing my mom hasn’t done since then is snow ski. She decided she was ready to give it a go for the first time in 13 years this past weekend. And she KILLED it! It was very emotional being able to share that experience with her, and I am very grateful for those moments. We are able to fully appreciate the beauty of life on a different level after enduring dark seasons. The shadow proves the sunshine.

I’m full of gratitude today. And GO @buffalobills !

An incredible 40th birthday trip to the PNW. Glad to share this time with my folks. We went to Mt. Rainier National Park(in the snow) and Olympic National Park(which is my favorite national park I’ve been to). Pictures & videos do not do the Temperate Rainforests justice. Truly a beautiful part of our great country.

Such an honor to play at my hometown’s Salute To America event. A total thrill for me. Also, was pretty crazy to play the second half of my gig watching lightning bolt after lightning bolt illuminate the sky.

Thanks to the city of Kennesaw for having me and thanks to everyone who came out. I’m truly grateful!

In Big Sky — Our 2023 family trip to Big Sky country was one for the books. Good vacations go by way too fast. Spent time in Bozeman, Yellowstone National Park, Big Sky, etc. Grateful for the memories that were made.

Such an incredible trip to Banff, Canada with my dad & Jordan. The most stunning scenery I’ve ever seen-and also the coldest temps I’ve ever been in-the temperature didn’t get above 5 degrees Fahrenheit for six straight days. Grateful for the opportunity. 🇨🇦 ⛷️ ❄️
