𝐌𝐮𝐭𝐞, a vinyl-only DJ, first explored the art world before discovering rave culture and the free party scene. She sees vinyl as a ritual of resistance and it has become her language. She crafts hybrid sonic journeys defined by textured waves, balancing tension with moments that breathe for the dancefloor, which she calls « her wolfpack. » A highly active figure on the local scene, she helped launch the bass music 𝐥𝐚𝐛𝐞𝐥 𝐒𝐞𝐧𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐬𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬, she is a co-founder of the association shop 𝐋𝐞 𝐆𝐞́𝐧𝐞́𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐞𝐮𝐫, and organizes the « 𝐌𝐚𝐤𝐞 𝐒𝐨𝐦𝐞 𝐍𝐨𝐢𝐬𝐞 « events, which celebrate artistic singularity. She is currently working on a vinyl release co-produced with Nano (Ena Eno). Get ready to meet an artist whose journey embodies a relentless quest for creative freedom.

Pour le N°80 « spécial Paris », nous avons eu le plaisir d’échanger avec 𝐃’𝐉𝐮𝐥𝐳, figure emblématique de la scène électronique. Son amitié avec des pionniers comme Jérôme Pacman, Guillaume la Tortue… l’amène à jouer dans les raves des 90’s. Par la suite, il mixe dans les clubs mythiques comme l’Enfer, le Concorde Atlantique, l’Élysée Montmartre… avant de démarrer, en 1997, ses 𝐬𝐨𝐢𝐫𝐞́𝐞𝐬 « 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 » au 𝐑𝐞𝐱 𝐂𝐥𝐮𝐛. En 2009, il lance 𝐁𝐚𝐬𝐬 𝐂𝐮𝐥𝐭𝐮𝐫𝐞 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐬 au catalogue considérable et en 2017, 𝐉𝐕 𝐫𝐞𝐜𝐨𝐫𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬. Fidèle à son identité musicale enrichie par la house et techno américaine, il continue d’illuminer les dancefloors du monde entier. Le parcours de D’Julz reflète son engagement, depuis toujours, envers le DJing, la production et la diversité dans la fête. 🎧 Why build a #DJschool in Siquijor? 🏝️
There are more reasons than you might think…

Because access to music education, equipment, mentorship and creative community should be easily accessible to an island with a rich musical heritage.

Siquijor is already a place where people come together from different parts of the Philippines and the world. We want to create a space where that exchange can happen through music.

#SiquijorFire DJ Academy is being built around DJing, but it’s also about listening, learning, collaboration and giving people the space to develop their own sound.

From local youth and emerging island creatives to visiting DJs and artists from across the Visayas and beyond, the goal is to create something that grows with the community.

This is the beginning.

🎶 Track: UWAN INIT by GAMITI’G KALMA (Bohol) @gamitigkalma

🎧 This track, off their recently-launched album “Ikatulo” is a live recording of a one-take provisation of the KATYAPI (also known as Kutiyapi or Kudiyapi), a 2-stringed traditional boat lute instrument from Mindanao.

The Bohol-based music collective works across tropical psychedelia, ethno-jazz fusions, dub, reggae, surf rock, and Filipino sounds and narratives at the forefront of their music.

Habitué de l’Ostra club et du KALT, Medulla Oblongata s’est imposé dans la scène underground. En 2021, il cofonde TRÊVE, un collectif artistique pluridisciplinaire alliant ambient et créations visuelles. En 2023, il prend les rênes de la DA et assure le stage-management de la scène techno du Château Perché Festival. En 2025 le producteur, déjà signé sur des labels notables, décide de lancer son propre label Mischief Mayhem Void soutenu par des figures majeures de la scène techno. Artiste DIY et polyvalent, il puise son inspiration dans l’héritage du hip-hop, l’art du sampling et il nous en dit plus sur la philosophie de TRÊVE, désormais un label cross-média. Sa première sortie, « Diary of a Madman », prévue pour début octobre 2026, est une compilation de 11 titres puisant son essence dans « Le Journal d’un fou », l’une des nouvelles cultes de Nikolaï Gogol.

Des rampes de BMX aux murs du graffiti parisien, Marcos a traversé plusieurs vies avant de devenir DJ Coshmar. Actif depuis les années 90, il signe deux albums de turntablism entièrement composés sur vinyles. Fondateur et directeur artistique de Starwax Magazine, il poursuit depuis 2006 un travail autour du disque, du DJing et des cultures urbaines, entre compilations, digging et scènes internationales.

From BMX ramps to the walls of Paris’ graffiti scene, Marcos has lived several lives before becoming DJ Coshmar. Active since the 1990s, he released two turntablism albums made entirely from vinyl records. Since 2006, he has been the founder and artistic director of Starwax Magazine, dedicated to vinyl, DJs, beatmakers and urban culture, while continuing to move between record digging, vinyl compilations and international stages.

Dj Coshmar fait partie du collectif Kulture Botte, qui met en lumière les artistes indé de la culture urbaine underground — DJs, scratcheurs, beatmakeurs et producteurs électro-Hip-Hop.
