🔥 48 HOURS. 🔥

Saturday, the talking stops.
The PSL U80KG Championship hits Austin FitFest.

Months of preparation.
Years of building strength.

One day to prove what all of it was for.

Every rep missed.
Every ugly training day.
Every injury worked around.
Every sacrifice nobody saw.

It all gets collected on Saturday.

This isn’t about looking strong.
It’s about being strong when the weight gets disrespectful.
When your lungs are cooked.
When your grip starts going.
When the guy before you just put up a number nobody expected.

That’s when we find out who came to win.
Elite athletes.
Heavy weights.

And a championship that has to be earned.

When I look back over this weight lifting journey, I'm so proud of how I've stuck it out.
Even on the really blooming hard weeks when life's feeling tough or I was just hating how my body was looking. Having now lost almost 30kg I'm definitely feeling much happier in myself.

Tonight I smashed my 50kg squat PB with a 55kg, 65kg, 67.5kg and then only went and did a 70kg squat! Definitely felt like there was more to go but I need my legs to work this weekend as my big girl turns 7!

Forever grateful for the people at @halifaxstrengthunit supporting, encouraging and maybe sometimes pretending the weights are lighter than they actually are....cough @state.zach cough.
Also @_milliekeighley what a fab unexpected training session we had tonight, I'd gone to the gym alone, expecting to try and do a couple of things and maybe feel a bit lost and head home....but nope, smashing PBs all evening! Even managing to lift and move 12.5m with 70kg farmers!!

Three weeks on from North Yorkshire’s Strongest, and it was time to compete again.

Summer Smash at Halifax Strength Unit—what a day! Great competitors across every category, all supporting each other from start to finish. That’s what makes this sport so special.

With only two weeks to prepare and no chance for a deload, I’m genuinely shocked and grateful to come away with the win. 🏆

A huge thank you to everyone who competed, organised, helped out, and those who came along to cheer us on. Looking forward to doing it all again in a few weeks!

Big thanks to @state.zach and everyone at @halifaxstrengthunit for putting on a fantastic competition.

As always, @lesleyjtait was there every step of the way—my number one supporter and the one who keeps everything running smoothly throughout the day.
