Nashaz welcomes back Ahmed Eid to Brussels with his band for the release show of “min ghazzeh labaghdad, min haifa la beirut” من غزّة لبغداد من حيفا لبيروت On 02/05, Ahmed joins forces with State Collapse and DJ Hosam to raise funds for The Palestine Music Space (PalMS) @thepalestinemusicspace Doors: 19:30 Ahmed Eid one of the most instigating Palestinian artist of his generation, blending eclectic liver performance with soul-stirring music. His art tells stories of struggle and liberation while nurturing the next generations of creatives. @ahmedeidmusic STATE COLLAPSE is a revolutionary metal-rap band with Punk Influences, a voice of resistance, an outcry for humanity, and a fist against oppression. Expect heavy guitars, raw politically charged lyrics, and an explosion of energy and emotion. They recently released their first single “Burn a Candle”, with their debut album “Altered States” set for release sometime before the world collapses. For this event, State Collapse stands in solidarity with Ahmad Eid and his initiative to support independent music and emerging artists in Palestine. @statecollapse Dj Hosam is a resident DJ at Nashaz, weaving percussion into sets that move the dancefloor through Palestinian and Arabic rhythms. His darbuka carries the echo of chants for the liberation of Palestine across Brussels. Over the past days, artists, organisers, venues, collectives and communities came together to hold space for difficult conversations, to confront the realities of our time, and to create moments of beauty, resistance and collective reflection. The panels were honest, the performances were powerful, and the exchanges with the audience were generous and alive.
