Frederik (Stately Records) — In-Store Session at Chippy Chasers 🌀

Hypnotic rhythms, long blends, room-pressure and glide — a vinyl-only trip through minimal house, deep tech and dub-leaning echoes. Two hours, recorded live in the shop.

Chippy Chasers is a record store in The Hague running an In-Store Sessions series, filming DJs playing vinyl in the shop itself. This one’s Frederik of Stately Records, digging through the deeper end of minimal and dub techno with nothing but records and a small room full of people. No stage, no production — just the selection.

Kiese is one of the founders of Spinning Waves and loves Minimal House and Dub House. He’ll also bring this record to our daytime party with @laremise.berlin on September 12th.

A track that means a lot to him:
Roger Gerressen – Trip With My Own – STLR002

“This one takes me back to when I first discovered this kind of music and slowly started falling deeper into it.

Roger Gerressen has been one of my favourite artists for a long time, and this track is a beautiful reminder of why I fell in love with this sound in the first place.

Deep grooves. Dubby textures. Good memories.”

Designed a poster and vinyl record sticker for Stately Records, inspired by botanical forms and organic textures. Blending nature with music, the project explores growth, rhythm, and visual harmony through detailed floral elements.

Thank you @statelyrecords for the amazing collaboration 🙌

Philipp Priebe - STLR10.2

In 2023, when Stately Records was playing in Berlin, they connected with Philipp Priebe, the man behind one of the most unique sounds in the world of everything that’s deep & dub. After a long and inspiring night at Golden Gate, the Stately Crew spent the after-hours listening to tracks Philipp had prepared, ultimately selecting four. Two of these tracks were previously released on the digital ‘Oh, Why EP’, and the remaining two are now coming to life on this very special 10” record.

So as you can see… I’m currently chilling in the mountains with some friends ❤️

This past year has been amazing 🙏
From releases on Stately and Squid Recordings to doing a Slapcast and playing a great gig at Paradigm in Groningen — feeling very thankful.
Next year already has some exciting releases lined up… can’t wait ✨
