Happy Thursday my scented family!
I hope everyone is doing great! 🤍

Today, I'm so excited to be reviewing the latest release from Statik Olfactive: 𝓛𝓪 𝓢𝓮𝓻𝓮𝓷𝓲𝓼𝓼𝓲𝓶𝓪.

I've truly fallen in love with this brand. I admire their commitment to creating fragrances with real character, and every release is incredibly artistic and thoughtfully crafted.

La Serenissima is the brand's first venture into the fresh fragrance category, and I honestly think they absolutely nailed it. The fragrance is undeniably fresh, yet it offers impressive longevity on the skin. More importantly, it has a distinctive niche quality that sets it apart from the countless fresh fragrances that often smell a little too designer-inspired.

What immediately caught my attention was how different this fragrance is from the typical citrus aquatic. While the opening is bright and vibrant with juicy blood orange, pomelo, and sparkling bergamot, it quickly reveals a much more intriguing personality.

The wild mountain mint is undoubtedly one of the stars of the composition. It brings an incredibly natural, cooling freshness that feels crisp rather than sweet, giving the fragrance a refined, almost windswept character. Combined with the salty marine accord and the subtle prosecco note, it evokes the sensation of standing on a quiet Venetian dock as the sea breeze carries hints of citrus and fresh herbs through the air.

As the fragrance settles, the ambergris becomes more and more noticeable, adding a beautiful mineral warmth and an elegant salty depth that lingers on the skin for hours. The alder wood and driftwood introduce a smooth woody backbone, while white musk keeps everything clean and airy without ever feeling soapy.

The result is a sophisticated, coastal fragrance that's unmistakably niche. It's fresh, yes—but with texture, character, and a depth that makes you want to keep smelling your wrist throughout the day.
