Cereal bowls, pajamas, and LOONEY TUNES! Saturday mornings were a whole VIBE! 🙌🏾

The When Judy Went Upstairs crew takes it back to the days when cartoons were worth waking up for!

🕊️ A special tribute to Eric Bauza, whose incredible voice talent helped keep these legendary characters alive for a new generation. ❤️🎙️

Which cartoon friend group would YOU want to be part of? 👀📺 From adventures to ride-or-die loyalty, who’s your crew?

Jeremy poses the question and reflects on the powerful messages in our childhood cartoons—friendship, acceptance, and showing up for each other. We came for the laughs, but those lessons stayed with us. ❤️✊🏾

Drop your cartoon crew below! 👇🏾

Before school, we were risking the bus. After school, the backpack barely made it through the door. 😂📺

That cartoon lineup had us ON A SCHEDULE! Cereal in the morning, snacks in the afternoon, and don’t touch that remote! 🙌🏾

Which cartoons had YOU glued to the TV? Drop your favorites and let’s see who grew up watching the same lineup! 👇🏾

They took our Saturday morning cartoons, and we STILL need answers. 😭📺

Jeremy explains educational programming requirements, network decisions, and the loss of our cereal-and-cartoons tradition, and honestly, we are NOT taking it well. 😂

Zakiya’s verdict? “Ruined childhood forever…” 💀

Which cartoon had you up early on Saturday but somehow you couldn’t get up for school? 👇🏾

Some characters come back and immediately remind you EXACTLY who they are. 😂😂 Senator Byron Douglas is back at Hillman — but all we heard was PAPA POPE HAS ENTERED THE CHAT. 😭

And the way he hit Dwayne Wayne with that petty little retort?! Sir… all these years later and you STILL got time?! 😂

The crew completely lost it breaking down this moment during our LIVE conversation about Netflix’s A Different World.

🎓 New generation. Same Hillman. Same SHADE.

What did y’all think about Senator Douglas’ return? 👀👇🏾

Fred Flintstone walked so your favorite animated sitcom could run! 🦴📺😂

Jeremy takes us back to Bedrock to talk about The Flintstones, television’s first primetime animated sitcom, and the history behind the cartoon shows we grew up loving. Because around here, cartoon conversations come with a little TV history! 🎓🤣

💬 What cartoon deserves a spot in the animated sitcom Hall of Fame?

📺😂 There were cartoon channels… and then there were the PREMIUM cartoon channels.

Jeremy takes us back to the channels that raised us—from the everyday favorites to those channels you only got if somebody’s parents had the GOOD cable package. 😂

And if you didn’t have it at your house? You knew EXACTLY which cousin, friend, or grandparent did. 😭

Saturday mornings. After-school cartoons. Premium cable. Different times.

👇🏾 What cartoon channels did YOU grow up watching—and which one felt “premium” in your house?

🎶📺 We said TOP 10… Zakiya heard “name EVERY cartoon you ever loved.” 😂

For our final Summer Shorts episode, we’re talking CARTOONS, and you KNOW we had to rank our favorite cartoon theme songs!

The problem? Every time we thought the list was finished, Zakiya had another one. 😭 So consider this our Top 10… plus several honorable mentions, bonuses, and “WAIT! WHAT ABOUT—” selections. 😂

Some of these themes had us running to the TV the SECOND we heard that first note. 🔥

👇🏾 What cartoon theme song are you putting in your Top 10?

📺🎨 Before we were obsessed with sitcoms… we were CARTOON KIDS!

In this Summer Short, Jeremy takes the lead as the crew goes back to where our love for television really started: ANIMATED TV! From Saturday morning cartoons to after-school favorites and animated sitcoms that had NO business being that funny, we’re talking about the shows that helped shape our humor, our pop culture references, and our love for TV today.

Because before we knew good writing, character development and comedic timing… we just knew “DON’T TOUCH THE TV — MY SHOW IS ON!” 😂

👇🏾 What cartoon or animated series helped make you the TV lover you are today?

Production wasn’t quite ready—but apparently, neither were we! 😂

Camryn cracked one joke, Jeremy completely lost it, and Zakiya did what Zakiya does…broke out in song! 🎶🤣
