📍Hayle, Cornwall Hey, do you remember when it was sunny that one time for a couple of days? The rain and wind may be back in full force this week but at least we have our memories, eh? 😅 Anyway, before it HOPEFULLY brightens up again, I’ve been scrolling through videos of this lovely solo date in Hayle. Started with coffee and vegan brekkie at the terrific @gilberts_hayle and made my way along the coast path overlooking the beach. Picked up a second coffee at @covecafehaylebeach before heading down onto the sand and back into town. I’m always surprised this area isn’t busier. It’s as if people go straight through Hayle to get to St Ives when really there are some great food spots and beautiful views here too! #visitcornwall #cornwall #visitengland #hayle #haylebeach

📍Cornwall Some photos from my recent jaunt from Holywell Bay across Polyjoke, to Crantock. 3 gorgeous beaches, in just under 4 miles. Made full use of the zoom lens on my camera to try and capture the people, flora and fauna on this stretch of coast. #holywellbaybeach #polyjoke #crantock #visitcornwall #swcp

Bluebell Wood Cornwall This has been my favourite — and most productive — spring season in many years. The vibrancy of the wildflowers and the golden light has been truly breathtaking. Now it’s the coast’s turn for wildflowers as we move into summer. It’s definitely time to start planning some astrophotography. NEW STORE PRINTS AVAILABLE ON WEBSITE www.benhawkinsphotography.uk

📍Minack Theatre Decided to expand Merlin’s cultural education by taking him to the Minack Theatre 🐶😂 The site genuinely blew me away, especially as we visited on a rare sunny morning. Those views!!! 😍 It could easily have been an amphitheater in Greece. If you don’t know the story of its creator, Rowena Cade, you should absolutely look it up, or better yet pay a visit to this incredible place. The museum and cafe are dog friendly, and if you time it right you can catch a performance from Rowena Cade’s ‘gardener’ who tells you all about the vision and hard work that went into building the theatre. Tickets are £10pp, but we visited on a locals’ pass FOC 🥰 Or of course you can catch a show here, which we 100% intend to do.
