A 49 year old Brazilian bricklayer reportedly sold his belongings and traveled more than 1,200 miles to meet a woman he believed was his online girlfriend, only to discover she was an AI generated character.

Edimar Rocha Martins traveled to Belo Horizonte hoping to start a new life with Jéssica Oliveira, an online persona whose videos portrayed her as a woman looking for a partner to join her on a farm.

After arriving, Martins discovered the woman was not real. With his money gone, he sought help from local authorities to return home.

The account’s creator denies ever communicating privately with him, highlighting growing concerns about AI generated personalities and online deception.

Nah that’s crazy 🤦‍♂️

Lil Pump and Jack Doherty were giving away gifts to kids when one woman became upset over what her family received. Her nephew was gifted a PlayStation 5, while her daughter received a basketball. The woman appeared unhappy with the difference in value between the two gifts and expressed her frustration despite both children receiving something for free. What started as a generous gesture quickly turned into an uncomfortable situation. The interaction sparked discussion about gratitude, entitlement, and expectations when receiving gifts. While Lil Pump and Jack Doherty were trying to do something positive for the children, the woman’s reaction shifted the attention away from the giveaway and onto the disagreement over the gifts.

A devastating loss for Limoges. The historic town hall, built in 1876, has reportedly collapsed completely after a fire allegedly started by rioters.

A landmark that stood for nearly 150 years, surviving two World Wars and generations of history, reduced to ruins in a single act of destruction.

A piece of France’s heritage is gone. Political violence destroys far more than buildings — it erases history that can never truly be replaced.

The new Tesla Roadster is Tesla’s next-generation electric supercar—and it just had a wild new demonstration yesterday, October 15, 2026. Tesla showed versions using SpaceX-derived technology, including cold-gas thrusters and a suction system. One demonstration reportedly hit 0–60 mph in 0.81 seconds, and the car even briefly launched into the air and performed other stunts.

There are essentially different levels of the car: a road-focused version, a Thrust version using rear thrusters for sub-1-second acceleration, and an extreme Rocket version capable of upward/sideways thrust. The more extreme flying/thruster setup is not street legal. Tesla is currently targeting 2028 production, so you won’t actually see customer cars anytime soon.

Interestingly, Tesla’s public Roadster page still displays the older headline targets of 1.9 sec 0–60, 250+ mph top speed and 620-mile range, so the final production specifications clearly aren’t settled yet.

Duane “Keffe D” Davis was sentenced Tuesday to 40 years to life for the murder of Tupac Shakur 30 years ago. He has 731 days of credit for time already served toward his sentence.
Davis, a former leader of the Southside Compton Crips gang, was found guilty of first-degree murder on August 31 for plotting the 1996 killing of the rap mogul near the Las Vegas Strip. He remains the only person ever charged in the death of Shakur, who was 25 and at the height of his career when his life ended.
For nearly three decades, the case remained unsolved: No murder weapon was ever recovered, law enforcement officials struggled with tight-lipped witnesses abiding by the gangs’
“code of the streets,” and as year after year passed, any physical evidence that might have existed slowly faded away.
But as those years went by, a new form of evidence emerged around which prosecutors would eventually build their case:
Davis’ own words. He spoke openly in interviews, documentaries and podcasts about his involvement in Shakur’s death and released a 2019 memoir recounting his version of events.
