Becoming. 🌿🎓

Today marks another milestone in a journey that continues to shape who I am, both personally and professionally.

I officially registered for the final six credits of my doctoral program.

As May 2027 approaches, I’ve been thinking about what it means to keep showing up for yourself, to trust the process of becoming, and to recognize the growth that happens along the way.

This journey has been about more than earning a degree. It’s been about finding my voice, embracing my identity, asking difficult questions, and learning to trust the scholar and leader I’m becoming.

There is still a dissertation to finish and work to be done, but today I am choosing to celebrate the progress.

One step closer to Dr. J. 💙

We are human first. And we are always becoming.

The boys are thrilled. Well, actually, they just want treats and attention, but we’re calling it emotional support. 😂🐾

May 2027 is getting closer, which means these three little gentlemen are about to have a DOCTOR for a dad! 👨🏽‍🎓

Dr. J is loading… and the boys are expecting extra treats at graduation. 🦴🎉

We appreciate your commitment to supporting survivors of domestic violence and relationship abuse.

Remember, even though our donation drive is done, you can continue your support by spreading awareness, participating in healthy relationships, and donating in other ways!

I am so thankful for the SCSU athletics programs @scsuhuskies this month… the boys are doing swim lessons with amazing teachers from @scsuhuskiesswimdive AND learning some sick moves from @scsuhuskieswbb & @scsuhuskies_mbb teams as #hotshots on the weekends. It’s a privilege and just downright joyful. Plus they get real tired. 🐺🐾 #winning #gohuskies #huskyhotshots #ourscsu @stcloudstate A kid and an adult in a pool during a swimming lesson
