My friend Stephen did it again! 💚✈️

Last year he surprised me with a trip… this year he leveled up — secretly upgraded us to business class (aka “first class” in my world 😎). And me? Totally oblivious.

At the airport, he kept saying “Come on!” marching straight into the VIP lounge like he owned the place. I stopped at the glass doors and told him, “You’re on your own if you get arrested — I’m not explaining this to airport security!” 😂

Eventually, I followed him in, we had an amazing breakfast, and I even asked, “Who did you bribe to get us in here?” Still. No. Clue.

Then as we walked through the airport, he asked my favorite number. I said 2. He grinned and said, “Perfect — now manifest better seats on the plane.” Coincidentally, our seats ended up in row 2. Did I catch on? Of course not. 🤦‍♀️

When they called Zone 1, I proudly lined up with the economy folks where I belonged. Suddenly, Stephen yells, “Come on — that’s us!” and drags me past everyone. I’m mortified, whispering, “We’re gonna get kicked off the flight!” 😂 Nope. We had priority boarding!

Then I sat down… looked around… and it hit me. HOLY CRAP — THIS IS BUSINESS CLASS! 🥹
My first time ever. I was so moved! It wasn’t just the comfy seat — it was what it meant.

Stephen has been my best friend for almost 35 years. After losing my daughter, he’s been my rock, my laughter, and my reminder that life still has beautiful moments waiting for me. 💚 Stephen has been my anchor — my earth angel who makes sure I laugh, feels safe, and keeps finding joy in life. He has this way of knowing exactly when I need a little extra light on my darkness.

As we settled in, he grinned and said, “Next trip, we’re manifesting a sugar daddy for both of us!” 😂

Love you, Stephen — my travel partner, my earth angel, and the only person who can get me past VIP security 👮‍♂️🚨 and into business class. 😇✈️🥂
