It didn't end how we wanted or expected but now we know our brother in arms is healing well we wanted to give a quick snapshot of the incredible journey until that point! In 44hrs we smashed through 727 miles!!! and were headed to finish at least 3hrs ahead of schedule 😱. What a phenomenal team, every single person pulled out everything they had to go over and above what their role in the team was. We laughed, we cried, we swore, we cramped, we slept, we laughed some more and we wild pooed. We fixed diesel leaks and broken Di2s, ate pot noodles for breakfast and doughnuts for tea. Through darkness and rain, A roads, B roads and crap covered pot hole riddled back roads. We saw sunsets and sunrises, owls and stags, drunken fools in the night and walk of shames in the morning... We all had our second wind and the end seemed inevitable and excitingly ahead. It wasn't to be, but we are ALL exceedingly proud of what we achieved as one unit, one high spirited team! Thanks everyone for the love and support and well wishes for our injured team member who were so chuffed to say is healing well. Our Justgiving page is still open for anyone who still wants to show some love 🖇️ in end2end2023 bio 🙏🏻 Official photographs coming, these a just a tip bit to tease the senses 😉
