Behind the scenes photos (1/2) of my VCA Capstone film, “Where’d You Go, Emily?” 🩵✨ I’m still bewildered by the amount of care and consideration that went into every minuscule aspect of this story. Every question we asked, and choice we made, we put under a microscopic lens of “how does this make us feel?” which became our North Star through every challenge and setback we faced. Every day of this production could’ve felt like the end of the world, and my gratitude is endless for every single person on this team who showed resilience, and a consistent dedication to the story. The four days we spent making this film, had me feeling like the luckiest girl in the world. All the love, talent, and emotion manifesting on this set, bleeds through every second of this film like magic. We are now in post-production! Huge love to our incredible lighting and camera teams for everything they brought to this film. Led by the incredible @niamccatty, we got to work with some amazing equipment, from Steadicam through @offshoot_ to motion control, and the results are looking pretty special. Big thanks to everyone who helped shape every frame. Couldn’t have done it without you. 🪮 Director of Photography: @niamccatty 1st AC: @maximilian_pegasus23 2nd AC: @benchew_ Steadicam Operator: @steadi_potts Motion Control Operator: @qp_content Gaffer: @l.a.rabak 📷: @niggawitcameras @film_cinpho

Here's a taste of the Undead Optics rehoused Aires lenses (very rare 1950s Japanese glass) that arrived recently, paired with ARRI Alexa Mni LF. It was great working with Wilson & Darcy from Romp & Rebel to pull this one together. Many thanks to the outstanding crew, including Jacob on Trinity. ⋆˙⟡ Day 4 (Director’s Cam) And that’s a wrap! This project and the people who made it happen, it genuinely means the absolute world to me, it’s been an intense last four days but not once did a single person on this set lose hope and because of that I could not in a million years have done it without any of you! More from me soon <3
