BTS from #NancyDrew Ep 307… it’s what we call a “cowboy switch”, when during the take an actor is swapped out for a stunt performer (it can also be used in reference to a prop swap.) In this case, my desire was to have one continuous shot that started with @leahmlewis in frame and then seeing her face plant without having to cut. We created a moment where we would be momentarily off of Leah, so that she could nimbly step off screen and her stunt double @meganhui would then rise in her place and take the fall. Kudos to Leah, her stunt double, and @maddisonjaizani for making this happen so perfectly. The BTS video below was a different take than what made the final cut hence why the timing is a little different.

That time it was Halloween, and I boomed a 13 hour day dressed as The Nun from The Conjuring. 😍😂 Six months later and I still can’t believe the cast were able to focus that day when even those of us closest to camera were dressed so ridiculously.

Also, I miss my work friends.

Thomas was not only an iZombie crew member in the final season, but also enjoyed a stunt cameo as one of the CDC security guards in episode 12.
