Hi,

I’m Crystal, MScN, NP, the Nurse Practitioner behind SKNTRINSIC. 🤍

While you may know me for medical aesthetics, my journey to this space began long before I picked up a syringe for aesthetic purposes.

My career has taken me through Emergency Medicine, Neurosciences, Trauma, Intensive Care, Primary Care, nursing education, university teaching, and medical aesthetics. Each chapter has shaped the way I practice today, with clinical knowledge, attention to detail, safety, and, most importantly, genuine care for the person sitting in front of me.

🩺 10 years in Emergency Medicine
🏥 3 years as a Neurosciences & Trauma Educator at The Ottawa Hospital
❤️ 5 years as an Intensive Care Educator at The Ottawa Hospital
✨ 7 years as a Nurse Practitioner in Medical Aesthetics
👩‍🏫 Professor at the University of Ottawa
🩺 Primary Care Nurse Practitioner
✨ Medical Director in Medical Aesthetics

But there’s more to me than my clinical résumé.

Outside of the clinic, I’m a traveller, road biker, beach volleyball player, friend, sister of three, auntie of nine, and very proud granddaughter. ❤️

My family, the people I love, movement, travel, and experiences outside of work are a huge part of who I am. And perhaps my favourite title of all is Auntie.

At SKNTRINSIC, my goal is simple:

For you to feel that you are in experienced, clinically trained hands, while also feeling genuinely seen, heard, and cared for.

Because aesthetics isn’t just about changing what you see in the mirror.

It’s about understanding you, your features, your goals, your anatomy, and what makes you feel like the best version of yourself.

This is SKNTRINSIC.
Where soul meets skin. 🤍

Your aesthetic journey starts with a conversation. ✨ Call 1-613-233 3366 to book your complimentary consultation.

There have been so many firsts lately and this was another one. My first professional photoshoot was very much outside my comfort zone but with the support of the right people, I still managed to have a lot of fun.

Building something new comes with uncertainty, self-doubt and challenges I’ve never had to navigate before. I’m incredibly lucky to have people around me who keep showing up, cheering me on & celebrating with me.

The vision may be mine, but getting here has never been a solo effort. The support around me has become part of the dream itself and I’m incredibly grateful to those who continued to stand by me through every version of me and my business.
