Lived in rooms do not happen in a weekend.

They come together slowly. Over years. Shaped by the people who actually live in them.

This is where we spend most of our time as a family. The Monopoly board that stays set up on the coffee table for three days at a time. The sideboard I had big plans of styling beautifully on the inside. It is full of Legos now and honestly they are styled better than anything I would have done.

The piece above the fireplace was made for us by my brother. The rug is vintage and so soft underfoot. We anchored the back wall in black and drenched the rest of the room in white, so the color never had to come from the walls. It comes from the layers instead. Books, figurines we have collected over the years, antique vases, artwork we carried home from places that inspired us.

None of this was styled in a day. It was lived into.

Your home should be a reflection of who you are and what settles your nervous system. Not what performs well. This is the environment you are in every single day.

Presence > perfection 🌸

Tell me one thing in your home that did not turn out the way you planned and you love it more because of it.

A few pieces linked in my bio.

Your home is talking to your brain. Here’s what it might be saying. 👇

We spend so much time thinking about how our homes look — but not nearly enough time thinking about how they make us feel.

The truth is, your surroundings are constantly sending signals to your brain. The clutter on the counter. The lighting that’s a little too harsh. The room that never quite feels like you. It all adds up.

The good news? Small, intentional changes can completely shift the energy of a space — and how you feel living in it.

Swipe through to see the 5 things that make the biggest difference. 👆

If you’re ready to create a home that genuinely works for you — not just looks good in photos — we’d love to help. Drop us a message or comment home to start the conversation.

I don’t have a coffee problem.
I have standards.

If I’m driving 20 minutes, it’s not just for caffeine.
It’s for a well-made cup.
Good beans.
No syrup masking bad espresso.

And if I’m being honest?
I also get to see my brother’s artwork on display while I’m there — which makes the whole ritual even better.

So yes… I support local businesses.
But also? This latte might be emotional support.

Drop your favorite local spot below. I’m always looking for real coffee. ☕️

Sunday family dinners are my absolute favorite!

We started them when Enzo was born. My Mom moved to Chicago to take care of Enzo while Michael and I worked. And every weekend my Dad would come into the city for time together and of course family dinners. My brother and his then girlfriend, now wife☺️ came to Sunday dinner. It was a pretty magical time in our life.

Over the years Sunday family dinners have stayed with our family. But late this summer they are going to become better than ever again as my brother’s family is moving here!!!

Earlier this year our families surprised my parents and gifted them this stunning handmade table from @28furnitureco. We are beyond thrilled to make memories together around this table and all the Sunday family dinners together. #familyfirst #sundayfamilydinner
