Ab 608 has been running a number of excursions around the Auckland and Waikato regions, which also included side trips to the Timber Museum in Putaururu. As one of the volunteer staff on board, I was lucky enough to be able to take part. #gvr #glenbrookvintagerailway #steamincorporated #steaminc

October 3 saw a windy and rainy day - a great backdrop for @steam_incorporated and @glenbrookvintagerailway’s Timberlands Flyer along the Kinleith Branch, headed by Ab 608 Passchendaele, one of NZ’s few named locomotives. Keep an eye out for more, and some stories with portrait shots!
