Jagged Little Pill 💊 (Sept/Oct 2026)

Genuinely couldn't have asked for a better group of people to tell these important and intense stories. With recent events coming to the surface- we are reminded once again that 1 in 3 women/AFAB are victims of sexual assault. It was a very emotional show for many people, and the level of compassion and care of the cast was astounding. Anytime anyone was having a hard time, there were at least 5 people ready to give a hug or dry a tear. I will forever be grateful to have met forever friends on this project... I truly adore you all and can't wait to see what you do next 🫶🏻⭐️‼️

Where to begin… We closed @tototootheatre Jagged Little Pill on Saturday. What a journey.

I jumped into this musical with only a slight hint of what it actually entails. To say it has inspired me is a big understatement. This was something truly special; to be surrounded by a cast so passionate and talented and empathetic. I used to be afraid of crying, leading me to think I could never bring justice to such an emotionally charged character like Frankie Healy, but throughout the process of working through this heavy story, and seeing everyone become so vulnerable, I wasn’t afraid anymore. And I'm sure not afraid now.

Being in this production of Jagged Little Pill is one of the best decisions I’ve ever made, because not only did we turn into a family, but I’ve become friends with some of the most inspirational and talented people ever. I really have never felt more love from a group of people than I have from this cast/family. I love ya’ll so much, and congrats on telling not just a story, but so many people’s stories.

THANK YOU SOSOSOSOSO MUCH to the production team!!! @lisakdunnn , and @lconmac21 , and @alianne.official You guys are literally my dream production team, and I’m so glad we got to work together once more.

If you missed seeing the production, I highly suggest you find a way to watch it. It’s such an important and relevant story. We need to promote more action, and fight for each other. If you have a voice and you have a platform, speak up. If you see someone who looks like they need help, speak up. Please.

i got one hand in my pocket, and the other is wiping my tears away.

where to begin? Jagged Little Pill was a life-altering show for me. I made friends that I hope stay in my life for a long time, I got to help tell an important story, I got to play a nonbinary character for the first time, and I got to sing my own solos for the first time. This show reminded me that hard work and dedication produces results, and we worked our asses off.

I went into this process terrified of being able to live up to my own expectations. But through the support of countless friends + team members, I was able to pull it together. Without the kindness, love, and support of this team, I never would’ve made it onto that stage. This cast was truly one of the most talented and supportive groups I have ever worked with. I am so privileged to be a part of this. So Thank U, all of you, you know who you are.

Thank you to the lovely @lisakdunnn and @alianne.official for taking a chance on me and seeing something in me, thank you @lconmac21 for your endless support and love, and thank you to @steefee for believing in me since day 1.

There’s so many people I want to thank in this cast + crew, but the list is extensive, so you’ll hear from me soon, when I recover from post-show plague. You Oughta Know, I love you all.

We lived, we learned, we conquered!

When I first received the casting call for this show, I wasn’t quite sure how to feel about it. I of course, was honoured to be apart of this cast. I got to be a quirky pharmacist, a very angry pedestrian, and a dad just trying his best. Though the one role that loomed over me like a dark cloud was Andrew Montgomery. This horrendous man was not one’s shoes I wanted to live in, nor did I think I’d have the mental capacity to either. Honestly, there were days I didn’t have the capacity and I broke down in tears, or sat silently in despair thinking about if I should even continue with this role. Then it finally came to me, the reason I said yes to this role to begin with, playing Andrew allowed me to tell a story not a lot of other people got/will ever get the chance to tell, playing Andrew gave people a reason to speak up for what’s right. So I found comfort in that.

Thank you everyone who shared in the tears, for trusting me, and for telling this incredibly important story. This show was full of immense talent and I can’t wait to share the stage with one another again. I made some lifetime friends on this show.

A special shout out to @andy_rcartas for going through this with me and bringing all the emotional weight and vocal talent the role of Bella deserves.
Shout out to @lisakdunnn for entrusting me with this role and believing in my abilities as an actor.
And of course shout out to @mx.kaysinclaire for always being prepared to take over if I wasn’t there or needed a mental health day.

at a very socially charged time, it was a privilege and honour to do this show with this cast and team.

@lisakdunnn, @alianne.official, @lconmac21 : thank you all for having an incredible vision, and then allowing us to explore and add our own flair. and to hold space for us as artists, as humans.

special thank u to @steefee (the best egg and best MJ there ever will be), @kayvukelic (for the ultimate in trust with your instrument), @sophiemelsness (for 67 energy), every single dancer for allowing me to pretend I could keep up with you, and every other ensemble and lead for bringing raw honesty and truth to every character on that stage ♥️✨

Bittersweet.

I should be used to the feeling by now - people come together, make a show happen, go back to their lives. This is the way.
But man, this one hits different.
A talented and professional cast of different backgrounds, united under a very nurturing directing team, who are putting on an incredible show that deals with some very difficult (and timely) subject matter, before sold-out houses.
Thank you my old friend @alianne.official for inviting me to audition way back when, thank you @lisakdunnn for trusting me, and thank you @lconmac21 for pushing us all forward in time.

Cast, you all know what we’ve done. Keep shining. I’m in a unique position where I have to single one of you out, because she was my partner in almost every step of Steve’s journey.
