We hosted a special educational day in Sant Martí Vell as part of Generación CODE “Ellas Hablan Código IA” programme, in collaboration with our partner @fundacionprincesadegirona

Students from Girona Est, Col·legi Sagrada Família and IES Montilivi explored the connections between nature, creativity, art and technology through talks, activities and hands-on workshops including an inspiring session with Eugenia Silva, promoter of the program.

A highlight of the day was the “Elsa Peretti & Ellas Hablan Código Challenge”. Stefano Palumbo, Board Member of the NaEPF, accompanied the students to discover Elsa Peretti’s legacy firsthand in Sant Martí Vell, exploring her enduring connection with nature and her approach to design.

Inspired by the landscape of Sant Martí Vell and Elsa’s designs for @tiffanyandco students developed their own design proposals, later bringing their ideas to life through AI and 3D printing.

We’re thrilled to share highlights from a special evening at the @palaumusicacat in Barcelona for the private screening of the documentary Elsa a Catalunya.

Conceived by the NaEPF as a legacy project and directed by @enricoiannielloofficial, the documentary, based on an idea by @stefano.palumbo, Board Member of NaEPF, celebrates Elsa Peretti’s profound connection to Catalonia through the vivid first-hand testimonies of her friends and collaborators.

The Palau de la Música Catalana provided the perfect setting for the occasion, an institution with which we proudly collaborate, supporting its institutional activities and serving on its Patronage Council.

The evening opened with remarks by @jordicabretrias and brought together Peter Schwendinger, President of the NaEPF, Joaquim Uriach Torelló, President of @orfeo_catala , together with the NaEPF team, friends, artists, and members of Barcelona’s cultural and philanthropic community.

Some places carry the soul of the people who loved them. Sant Martí Vell is one of them, a village Elsa Peretti kept alive, planting figs, cypresses, jasmine, and wisteria that still bloom today. Small wonders keep multiplying here. She’s one of the reasons we’re here, and her soul lingers in every corner. I’ve always loved her jewelry and now I love her figs too.

One year ago today Her Royal Highness The Princess of Asturias and Girona and Her Royal Highness Infanta Sofía, discovered Elsa Peretti’s legacy in Sant Martí Vell.

Accompanied by the Minister of Industry and Tourism, Mr. Jordi Hereu, the Government Delegate in Catalonia, Mr. @carlosprietogo and representatives of the @fundacionprincesadegirona and of the Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation, the Princesses visited Elsa Peretti’s village of the heart, exploring various spaces that reflect different phases of her creative journey and the museum that houses her personal collection and life’s work, all preserved by the Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation.

The visit is part of #PremioPrincesadeGirona activities which further strengthened the enduring partnership between the NaEPF and the Princess of Girona Foundation.

Created by Elsa as an exploration of organic form, proportion and simplicity, the Bean design embodies her lifelong dialogue with nature. A form inspired by the seed, a symbol of origin, growth and renewal, it remains one of Elsa’s most enduring creations.

Yesterday night during @fundacionprincesadegirona Princess of Girona Awards ceremony, Her Royal Highness the Princess of Asturias and Girona wore Elsa Peretti’s personal Bean Clutch in sterling silver, part of the @nandoandelsaperettifoundations private collection.

Princess Leonor first encountered Elsa Peretti’s organic designs during her visit to Sant Martí Vell in July 2025, discovering Elsa’s legacy firsthand and remaining particularly fascinated by the Bean designs.

As patrons of @fundacionprincesadegirona the NaEPF was honored to attend yestraday’s remarkable Princess of Girona Awards ceremony held at Barcelona’s @liceu_opera_barcelona celebrating the power of young talent to transform society.

The evening recognized six inspiring young leaders Gemma Blasco, Rafael Luque, Patricia Aymà, José Eduardo Méndez, Mercedes Bidart, and Hatim Azahri for their work in research, entrepreneurship, art, and social impact.

As a special moment of the ceremony, Her Royal Highness the Princess of Asturias and Girona wore Elsa Peretti’s personal Bean Clutch, part of the Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation private collection. Filming of “The Joyful Awakening” (“The Women of the Gauche Divine”).
A feature-length documentary about a group of creative, restless, profoundly free and unconventional women who, in 1960s Barcelona,
helped to transform society and foreshadowed some of the changes that would come many years later.

Among them stands out the model and designer Elsa Peretti, perhaps one of those who achieved the greatest international recognition, whose arrival at Tiffany’s in 1974 marked a revolution in jewellery design.

In Sant Martí Vell (Girona), she restored several village houses and went on to create an entire world
that exudes beauty, elegance, tradition and avant-garde spirit.
It is a truly special place were Stefano Palumbo, Board Member of the Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation, paid tribute to the indispensable figure of Elsa.

In the fourth episode of “Who Else but Elsa?” jewelry expert @carolwoolton joins @stefano.palumbo, Board Member of The Nando and Elsa Peretti Foundation, to reflect on the acclaimed exhibition “Elsa Peretti: Jewellery and Objects” held at the British Museum back in 2009.

For the occasion @tiffanyandco donated over thirty Elsa Peretti pieces including jewelry, accessories, and objects, which became part of the Museum’s permanent 20th-century collection.
