I get so many demos for Moodmusic and Eastern Standard that sometimes, while playing around the world, I realize I’m spinning someone else’s art — tracks from talented producers who rarely get credit or even a thank you.

I know the feeling. I send my own stuff to labels too, and it’s great to see big names play my tracks. But let’s be honest — most of the time, there’s zero acknowledgment. Just silence.

It’s unreleased music — someone’s hours in the studio — getting played everywhere with no credit, no support.

So yeah, that started to bother me.
That’s why I decided to flip it: to actually release some of those tracks — the ones I play the most, the hidden gems that make a set hit harder or just a difference somewhere at some point.

“Cos I Said So” is about that.
Giving a voice to producers who deserve to be heard. Tracks that came from random emails, DMs, or friends’ tips — all now part of what we stand for at Eastern Standard.
“With Cos I Said So, Eastern Standard opens a new chapter in its sonic diary.

This various artists collection stitches together voices from different corners of the scene — both rising names and seasoned creators — all bound by a shared love for house in its rawest form.

The tracks carry the grit of oldschool heritage while bending into sharp, modern shapes, each one road-tested across dance floors from Berlin to beyond.

Born out of months of traveling, chance encounters, and late-night exchanges, Cos I Said So feels less like a compilation and more like a living map of the label’s journey.”

‘Peculiar’ is out now together with my bff @felix_e_030 on @weareeasternstandard / @moodmusicrecords!

Extremely grateful for the support and opportunity from @jepe_musica — a musician I truly look up to — and to Beatport for placing our track at #1 in the new Indie Dance selection. 🙏

So happy to be part of this amazing compilation. Make sure to check it out!
