DU STUDIO EPHEMERAL AGENTS : ARCHIPELAGO *Symposium Speaker ‘Archipelago‘ transforms Lake Geneva into a scenic space where imaginary worlds are projected onto a wide horizontal surface. Garden islands with misshapen silhouettes float on the lake, appearing as graceful yet grotesque creatures formed from lush plants and tree stumps. Made from old rootstocks and stumps, these islands give scraps of local forestry a second chance to sustain plant life. Wetland plant roots cling and intertwine around them, creating surreal ensembles supported by floats and prostheses. Together, these hybrid forms stage a theatrical commentary on the decline of the lake’s flora.   „Archipelago“ Authors: DU Studio @detouruniverse together with Taiyo Onorato @taiyo_onorato Dr. sc. nat. Dieter Ramseier, ETH Zurich, Institute of Integrative Biology Dr. Christopher Robinson, Eawag, Department Aquatic Ecology Ephemeral Agents will take place at Gallery House Zurich @galleryhouse.zurich - Quellenstrasse 27, 8005 Zürich. The programme combines an exhibition of projects selected through Open Call A, and a symposium featuring invited speakers. Thursday 11.12.2025 Exhibition 16:00-23:00 Symposium 18:30-21:00
