Dear Australian film industry friends and @aacta members. Oscar qualifying short film @shallow_breath_film is available for consideration at the 2022 AACTA Awards in the Best Short Film category so please go check it out on AACTA TV if you’re a member (or sign up if you’re not!) Voting is 15 July - 1 August! It’s a small film that was pulled together by a talented, and small devoted crew between lockdowns last year and it has since had strong international success (such as winning the Oscar Qualifying Light in Motion Award for Best International Short Film at Foyle Film Festival and playing at Seattle International Film Festival). I really appreciate you taking the time to have a 👀 and best of luck to the other excellent Aussie shorts!
Another reason to watch it is that it’s only 5 minutes long! 😮 🤗 🙌 ⏰ ❤️

I’m super proud to announce that @shallow_breath_film will be debuting in North America at the legendary Seattle International Film Festival! @siffnews is not only one of the top North American film festivals, but it’s also the biggest, attracting over 150,000 attendees. It’s an @theacademy qualifier for shorts and also has a wonderful history, being the home to the world premiere of Alien and an early champion for Paul Verhoeven films. Completely honoured to be part of the festival for 2022! #siff #seattleinternationalfilmfestival #shortfilm #shallowbreathfilm 🎥 🎉
