A bit of a different video than normal - an insight to the process and technique I use to create the dotwork shading you see a lot of in my work.

I would usually start a tattoo with the lines, but as this design has no lines I would start by mapping out the shapes of the stencil lightly so I don’t lose the structure of the design.

Once I have the initial shapes, I will start to focus on the darker areas. This will help understand how light or dark the rest of the shading needs to be. The idea is very similar to drawing on paper with a pen or pencil.

I use a 3rl for most of this design and run my machine very slow (around 4.5/5volts) which allows me to get a very light tone and build up the shading slowly.

Let me know if you’d like to see more of this kind of content👀

An overdue appreciation post for Barcelona. It’s already been 8 months since moving here and I cant begin to describe the love I have for this city😍

Barcelona is overflowing with art, music, passion, energy, amazing food and most importantly amazing people. I have no idea how I ended up here, i just know that following your heart is the most important thing you can do

Thank you to everyone who has made me feel so welcome & loved here❤️

Tener familia es lo mejor,
pero poder elegir a quienes se quedan
es un sueño que abraza fuerte,
un regalo que el tiempo no borra.

Un mes lleno de abrazos prestados,
de risas que saben a casa,
de miradas que entienden sin palabras,
de amor que no pide permiso.

Familia es raíz y es rama,
es sangre y también elección:
es ese milagro de encontrarnos
y quedarnos, por puro corazón.
