Do not miss your chance to see Come From Away in Woodstock, GA! This cast, crew, live band, every single member of the team is just phenomenal! They tell the story of the 38 planes that landed in Gander, Newfoundland on 9/11 so beautifully. You'll laugh, cry, and sing along even if you've never heard the music before. So proud of every single one of these amazing humans who made it possible and thankful to join the reception after the show to celebrate everyone who made this possible. It's here through 10/25/26! Get your tickets now! https://woodstockarts.org/events/come-from-away/

The ball in Times Square is pink in Dolly's memory. There was also a tribute ad for her last night on the big screen but I missed it. The Empire State Building was also pink in her memory last night.

What a joy to watch Gael Monfils and his wife, Elina Svitolina win their first match of the US Open Mixed Doubles Championship. This is their first time playing together and they both pair so well together. They took out a really tough team, Henry Patten and Katerina Siniakova.

Courtside at Arthur Ashe Stadium for US Open Mixed Doubles Championship with Novak Djokovic and Aryna Sabalenka! Our seats are cushioned this year and we're in the shade! Section 105 is where it's at!

After eating at Tony Di Napoli's last year while in NYC for the US Open, we knew we had to eat there again this year.... what we didn't know is God would bring two Georgia Southern alums to sit at the table next to us. Casey and Cooper work together at Custom Beverage Concepts in Tallapoosa. They both went to Southern just like us, and Casey was in school with THE Adrian Peterson. They took most of their classes together and were great friends. How cool would it have been to not only go there when we won back to back National Championships, but to know the GOAT personally?! All four of us enjoyed our fresh, homemade Italian dinners as well as our conversation. So cool that God saw fit to put four Georgia Southern folks together in the same restaurant on the same night at the same time in the same big city. God doesn't just work in the big things y'all, He's ready to do something so unique that you can't help but smile. He's in the details... we only need to be willing to look ❤️

What an honor and privilege it is to vote. We sang this song as we walked through the parking lot. Heavenly Father, let Your Kingdom come and Your will be done in our land!

Voting is a privilege we don't take lightly. Honored to vote in another election. So many local and state positions are at stake. Also on the ballot are homestead exemptions for people over the age of 65 or 70 in Fulton County. Ask the Lord for guidance, talk to trusted friends, educate yourself, and make your vote heard! Georgia voters can always go to https://mvp.sos.ga.gov/s/ to see a sample ballot and use that to research the candidates. We were ballots 274 and 275 at our polling location today. As we left, we ran into a friend we haven't seen in a few years... that's an added bonus! Make your voice heard, voters!

Loved seeing so many great colleagues at the The Georgia Society of CPAs Open House in their "new" office in Alpharetta this afternoon! The highlight of the event was spending time with Lowell Mooney and Paula Mooney. Matthew Steinberg and I met in Dr. Mooney's Managerial Accounting I class in 2007. These two have been dear friends and mentors and are why we chose to join the accounting profession. Everyone at the GSCPA office is amazing, and we enjoyed catching up with them. If you're a CPA in Georgia or an accounting student, I'd love to tell you more about this great organization and help you find your local chapter!
