Those Aren’t Tears!

My eyes are just watery 🥹. A special senior day for a special group of girls. A group that will forever hold a prominent place in my heart. They set the standard for how welcoming and loving a program can be and I’ll never forget that.

This is a tale of everything gone wrong.

The water was as warm as it gets, and this surfer planned on a senior shoot in a dress. This is not the time to need a new part for your housing. Top it off with high tide locking us out of a few special spots, I planned out exploring, and a couple haters in the water literally yelling at us as we were shooting.

Despite all that, this beautiful, kind, talented senior was the focus, and I embraced the idea that sometimes despite your best efforts, and grand plans, you have to learn to go with the flow. It was a total gift to spend this gorgeous night with such a special senior! Even if I had to shoot from water’s edge. The landscape, light and subject were 10/10
