3 weeks ago my best friend @stellaboonshoft got married to her best friend @arianacember and today is Stelly’s birthday! It’s been the most beautiful thing, watching you grow into the woman (and wife!) you are today. If 14 year old Stella could see you now, she would think you are the coolest, smartest and most fabulous person in the world, and she would be right.

It has been the *honor* of a lifetime, being your friend. I love you!!!!

Night 1: The Welcome Party at Hotel Lilien felt like Ariana & Stella were welcoming everyone into their upstate home for the weekend—warm, intimate, personal, and every bit as glamorous as the brides themselves.

Guests enjoyed famous fried chicken, passed apps, and floating suppers from the incredible catering partner Fig + Pig.

We layered playful, glamorous Lola Valentina linens with the lobby’s mid-century modern and Art Deco details, creating the perfect beginning to everything that followed. Then came the magic: incredible lamps and floral arrangements from Little Sister Studio. Troy from Ramar made sure the stained glass glowed as well as all key floral moments. @polkpaper was everywhere perfectly complimenting the linens!

A beautiful first glimpse of the epic chuppah—and the unforgettable weekend—to come. “I’m just so proud of my design!”

@dana.bklyn thank you for capturing this BTS, and being an incredible collaborator and dear friend.

Fri, Sept 4. We had 24 hours to transform Hotel Lilien for the most epic weekend. Captured by the incredible @dana.bklyn. Thank you for capture so much magic BTS.

Load into the production spaces. Install roadside surprise signs provided by Ramar Pros who went above and beyond for our brides. Drape the Lodge. Install lighting across both structures. Hang signage. Install custom lighting fixture covers. Set the entire welcome party. Deliver welcome bags. Get our brides checked in and settled while beauty did their thing. Load in florals for all days via the incredible @littlesistercreativenyc. Run rehearsal. Steam, Style, troubleshoot, tweak, and make sure every corner of the property was ready for Stella + Ariana’s guests to kick off welcome party by 3 pm.

A lot can happen in 24 hours. ✨

I have watched this on repeat at least 20 times, and I still cannot believe this past weekend was real.

To hear Stella and Ariana speak about our work, our process, and the weekend we created together meant more than I can say.

You dream it up, make the suggestions, ask your clients to trust you, and hope everything you know about them and their guests will land. With these two, it did.

From the beginning, the intention was clear: a weekend that felt warm, expressive, sexy, thoughtful, and completely theirs. Every detail was considered, the guests noticed, and they “stayed awhile”

That same intention extended to the people behind it all. Stella and Ariana were thoughtful about building a vendor team they connected with and that reflected their values, with an emphasis on diverse-owned, MWBE-, DBE-, and LGBTQ+-owned businesses.

To see it all come together 🥹 and then hear them reflect it back to me like this — is something I will never forget.
