Well, friends... this one is hard to write. 🥹 When we built and moved into this house 13 years ago, I truly believed it was our forever home. It’s where we’ve laughed, celebrated, grown, and built a life we love. Every room holds a memory, and deciding to sell it is one of the hardest choices we’ve ever made. But a new chapter is calling, and we’re answering it. We’re moving to South Florida! 🌴 I have to give a shout-out to Fredrik. He has poured so much hard work (and sweat, and patience) into getting this house ready to list, and I am so proud of him. I’m even prouder of the new career path he’s stepped into, because it’s what has opened the door to this opportunity of a lifetime for our family. Honestly, it all feels a little surreal. One minute I’m giddy about everything Florida has to offer, and the next I’m crying walking through these rooms. Bittersweet doesn’t even begin to cover it. Our home officially hit the market today! 🏡 Six bedrooms, five full baths, a home office, a full daylight walkout basement (hello, game nights and hobby space), a brand-new deck, and a quiet cul-de-sac in Renaissance Park with a pool, clubhouse, and the best neighbors around. Friends, family, and coworkers: we would be so grateful if you’d share this post! You never know who’s looking for their own forever home, and we’d love for this house to go to someone who will make as many memories here as we did. 💛 👉 https://www.compass.com/homedetails/953-Palace-Garden-Way-Raleigh-NC-27603/YP1AN_pid/ To everyone we love here: please know how deeply we’ll miss you. You are what made this place feel like home. And fair warning... I hope you have a spare room, because I’ll be visiting often. If nothing else, I’ll need to experience an actual change of seasons once in a while. Florida only comes in three settings: hot, hotter, and hottest. ☀️ I look forward to having and hosting friends and guests often. There’s lots to do and it’s always hot. Here’s to new beginnings, with all of you coming along in our hearts. 💛

Fifteen minutes… that’s all it took to freeze a little piece of our world right now. Over 89 photos of us—laughing, teasing, holding on, just being us. These moments slip by so fast, and having them captured feels like a gift I’ll treasure long after the leaves have fallen. Thank you to Kathleen Lucey with Focus on the Happy Things for seeing us, for making it easy, and for giving us memories we can hold onto forever. “Photography takes an instant out of time, altering life by holding it still.” #FamilyMemories #Fall2025 #FocusOnTheHappyThings #HeartFull #TimeStandsStill
