What are you willing to do to keep your dream alive? Break your shoulder at the finish line after a blistering kick?

That's what Zachary Kehler of @utampatrack did to advance out of the 800-meter prelims at the @ncaadii Outdoor T&F Championships this past weekend. Kehler went from sixth to third over the final 150 meters and then dove at the finish line to secure the all-important automatic qualifier. He wouldn't have advanced to the final on time otherwise.

Kehler eventually gritted his way through the final to finish eighth and earn First-Team All-America honors.

Zach Kehler finishes 8th at the NCAA DII Track & Field National Championships, earning First-Team All-American honors.

Kehler becomes just the second athlete in program history to earn First-Team All-American status, continuing to make history for the Spartans on the national stage. ⚔️🛡️
