I am honored to have been part of @designblok_prague again this year and to share my tips. Thank you @janazielinski @patrikflorian for this opportunity and @anezka21.p for videos and for a great time during shoot. I really enjoyed it!

Thank you @martinfaltejsek for photos, you are a genius!

"The best design is the on you don' t even notice - it is so useful and intuitive that it instantly blends into our lives." A great sentence from @maxfraserdesign

◾️#DesignBlokTeam: On behalf of the whole team, we sincerely thank you for an unforgettable edition full of light, encounters and, above all, the very best of Central European design. Our thanks also go to the hundreds of exhibition stewards and event staff, and to the entire wider team you can’t see in the photo, but without whom this year would not have been what it was.

We look forward to seeing you next year, on 6–10 October 2027, with the theme Home and a full return to the Industrial Palace at the Prague Exhibition Grounds.

🎤 #QOTD: It’s Sunday, and with it comes the final episode of this year’s #QOTD, which we approached a little differently: as a team. Listen to find out who the festival couldn’t have happened without, just as design can’t exist without light. Thank you, and we look forward to continuing next year!

🇬🇧 On Saturday, we headed out for a run in the beautiful surroundings of Nižbor with Kateřina Handlová @katulen.h, the creative director of the @ruckl_cz glassworks. After our community run through the Křivoklát forests, we enjoyed coffee and pastries, a guided tour of the glassworks, and as a finale, we got to try hand-cutting our own souvenir glasses. A huge thank you to everyone who joined us! We look forward to more meetups during this year’s DesignBlok!

🇬🇧 On Thursday, in collaboration with @aerofilms_cz and @kvifftv, the first event of our year-round community project, Design(Blok) Lovers, took place!

Over 120 design and film enthusiasts joined us for the screening of Almodóvar’s new film, Bitter Holidays. A big thank you to everyone who came out and enjoyed not only the film itself, but also the introduction about design in Almodóvar’s work. The introduction was presented by film historian and dramaturg David Čeněk, alongside production and costume designer @beatakuraj.

If you missed our community screening, the film is now showing in cinemas and will soon be available on KVIFF.TV. At the same time, you can already look forward to our next event, which we are preparing for September in collaboration with @ruckl_cz. We will reveal more details soon!
