There is a certain kind of magic when creative craft meets deep cultural understanding. We built a whole film division around it.
Introducing Box3.

For over fifteen years, film has been at the heart of how OX helps organizations multiply good in the world. Over those years, we have learned a lot about what it takes to tell stories across cultures, contexts, and continents in a way that truly honors the people at the center of them.

So we found a third way of making films: a curated global network of trusted producers and long-term collaborators, people we have worked alongside for years, who bring cinematic craft together with a genuine understanding of the communities they film in.

And we are just getting started. Let’s reframe what’s possible. @madebybox3

Twenty years ago today, Jen and I incorporated a small, hopeful idea: J. Oxford Studios.

Somehow, over time that seed became OX FOR GOOD.

Deeply grateful for every collaborator, risk-taker, and friend who’s carried this story with us.

Here for good!

The Little Things. (Director’s Cut)
A shared cup of chai.
Moments with family.
Memories made without noticing they’re being made.

These are the things that quietly disappear when freedom is taken—and return, full of weight and wonder, when freedom is restored.

Produced in partnership with International Justice Mission, this film—told in Telugu—shares the true story of Appa Rao and the work of reclaiming life’s smallest, most human joys.

Because when freedom returns, the little things mean everything.

This project has been especially meaningful for me as I’ve personally been a small donor to IJM’s social justice work for 15 years, and it was such an honor to produce this for them – I’m a huge fan!
