Last night was a night of this prairie girl’s dreams… 🥹🌾🤍

A Little House on the Prairie cookie class (with the best of the best @thehanmade.kitchen) surrounded by THE BEST group of people that have become family to me… with a little surprise. 💕

Weston and I are elated to welcome another girl to the family this September. Shoutout to @thehanmade.kitchen for pulling off the sweetest gender reveal cookies that the entire group could be involved in!

We can’t wait to meet you Annalise “Annie” James Shepard 💗

Annalise meaning “God’s gracious promise” and James not only having familial significance, but representing my mom and my favorite book in the Bible (go read James 1:2-3 for my mama, please 🫶), Annie has been covered in prayer and purpose since before we knew she existed.

Praise God for life and we do not take this blessing for granted. 🤍

Just beyond proud. 🧡🩵 In less than 20 hours, our Admissions team put on THREE show stopping events impacting hundreds of guests with the main goal to support and inspire students, counselors, and families to be intentional and educated in this college search season... and have some fun along the way!

🌟 Commit Day! Welcomed almost 200 guests to campus as they learned more about what life as a Warrior will really be like. Signings, media photos, panels, and student experience opportunities — just the best!
🤝 Nebraska School Counselor Academy! Networked with school counselors from across the state and even had the opportunity to lead a breakout session discussing how they can support students to leverage CliftonStrengths knowledge and language to make the right college choice based on their natural talents and tendencies.
The event may also have been Taylor Swift themed, so you know we had to show up with friendship bracelet kits!
🎭 Midland Arts After Dark & NMEA! Celebrated the vocalists and instrumentalists selected for All State Choir and Band ensembles. We also got to have a blast with students at our annual “after hours” party with fun games, announcing our All State Musical shows, and even had some choreo workshopping this time around!
🎈Also, honorable mention of the HUNDREDS of balloons blown up over the last couple of days, and the artists that assembled!

I don’t want to sound like I won an award, but THANK YOU. To my team of just straight up rockstars, to our next-level Ambassador squad, to our brilliant Marketing team bringing these crazy ideas to life, to our outstanding President and leadership, to our dedicated coaches, arts directors, and academic reps, to the school counselors who care so much, to the students and families that gave us space to share what drives us daily… just thank you.

I’m going into the weekend beaming and ready to squeeze my greatest treasures at home. 🤍 As always, it’s a great day to be a Warrior!

Forever a Warrior. 🧡🤍

Per tradition, last year’s seniors left their literal mark in the program by signing their names on our alumni wall.

Memories for life. 🥹🫶💙

More so than any win or loss, the memories made and the bonds strengthened as teammates and as a family are the greatest takeaways from our Sioux City journey.

Our sincerest gratitude and appreciation go out to:

- Absolute Screen Art, headed by Chris and Rhonda Rich-Rhodes, for being our NAIA sponsor, spoiling our team with gifts, & cheering us on from the sidelines. 🍪

- Evolve Yoga and Wellness for treating our team to a much-needed yin relaxation session. 🧘‍♀️

- The Kuehl family for offering up their home to our team for a delicious home-cooked spaghetti dinner. 🍝🥖

To the game that has helped form me into the person I am today, thank you. I am beyond grateful to have been apart of MU volleyball for the past four years and thankful for such supportive coaches who have helped me grow both as a player and a person. I am truly blessed to have been given the opportunity to play this sport for all of these years and grateful for all of the joy it has brought me. I can't believe my time of playing volleyball has come to an end, but I am forever grateful for this team and the countless memories I will cherish for a lifetime! Forever a warrior 🧡💙

Now onto the next season of life!
