Spent 22/36 hours this weekend with my Weekend Family! 😵‍💫
But besides being amazing teammates, this incredible group also gives the best hugs, back scratches, smiles, and laughs! 💗
.
Until my next weekend of chaos!

One of my favorite parts of going to Basecamp is all the celebratory milestones along the way!

Thursday was the day for hiking at Red Rocks! Jess was amazing as the leader and guided us through the Morrison Slide Trail! She said she would rate it as “easy,” but I thought it was more along the “moderate” scale…
Either way, it was doable for both of us and full of gorgeous views, random plants that looked like asparagus, and the most perfect trees!

My first concert at Red Rocks did not disappoint! Although I would not have been upset if it didn’t rain the ENTIRE 4+ hours we were there. Rain jackets were not enough, so we ended up with ponchos by the 3rd artist.
Mod Sun, State Champs, and Neck Deep did an amazing job keeping the crowd engaged before Blackbear! But once he came on stage, that amphitheater was PUMPED!!!
*I do not own the rights to this music*

Tuesday was a full day with driving into the mountains, gorgeous views at Sapphire Point, a “slice” of pizza at Breckenridge Ale House, and a concert at Red Rocks (which is a separate post)!!

💙⚡️Story Time⚡️💙
June 2020 I had just graduated nursing school, but was in the worst shape of my life. I put all of my heart and soul into school M-F, followed by working every Saturday and Sunday 7am-7pm for 3.5 years.
In the beginning of July 2020, I received a flier in the mail about a ✨NEW✨group fitness studio opening a few miles from my home. I took the leap of faith and visited the Monroe Street location which was up and running. Mask on and heart rate pushed to the limit, I fell in love with this style of exercise in my FIRST class!
Here I am, 15 months later, celebrating my 250th Class🎉 Surrounded by my teammates who push me to be stronger everyday! Surrounded by the congratulations from my friends and family who couldn’t sweat it out with me this morning! And surrounded by the little voices of all the coaches who have worked with me to encourage my growth mentally and physically!
.
I am a better person when I am working out.
I live for that “happy high” I get when I am pushed.
I truly cannot say enough positive things about the environment and community that Basecamp provides.
My life is FINALLY feeling balanced after years of things being crazy 🤪
Here’s to the next 250 classes and more! 🥳
