Starting my day at the instagrammable @cafe_nomade located in @boxotel hotel in Montreal! They serve healthy fare and quality coffee from Costa Rica and I had the most perfect piccolo☕️! Never heard of it? Basically, it’s a miniature latte (100ml). What makes it so great is that it’s a perfect fit between a good milk-coffee experience but not as rich as a full-sized latte ☕️! Perfect if you want to reduce your milk intake and want a smaller milk-based coffee😊! . . [LONG POST ALERT] Hubs and I recently stayed at Boxotel in Montreal, and it was EXTRAORDINARY! The look and feel of this boutique hotel exceeded my expectations🙌! . . First, it's in a great location (Quartier Des Spectacles) with access to the metro, restaurants and all the good stuff. The hotel stands out with its 20 studios, luxury lofts, and apartments over six floors, an art gallery, a café, a spa, and a large rooftop terrace with a pool and hot tub with great views🙌! . . The hotel aesthetic is very industrial chic👌. Think modern-minimalist with white walls, concrete floors, exposed ceilings, smart design, and fully self-sustained. Swoon👌! . . The apartments have everything you need to feel at home, including a well-equipped kitchen, a fridge, a washer and dryer (detergent included!), large soaker tub, rain shower, and an automation system that controls lights, curtains and temperature remotely! Très smart! . . Best of all, the facilities are immaculately clean and staff are friendly and helpful. Bonus🙌: We were upgraded to a loft King room with a balcony and tub and it was heaven! As well we had a wonderful breakfast (included!) at the cute coffee shop on site (@cafe_nomade ) ☕️! . . I can’t say enough good things about @boxotel . With affordable rates starting at $160-180 per night, it’s without a doubt one of Montreal’s best kept secrets! I can’t wait to go back✌️!
