New to me but love it …really amazing musical universe !

She’s known for her honest, raw, vulnerable and profound lyrics.
It’s feels both personal but still it’s recognizable universal themes, with great thought-provoking reflections on the human condition at large.

The debut album. Acritical smash, prompting Rolling Stone to hail her “John Prine-esque observation” and NPR to declare her “one of Nashville’s most fearless young singer-songwriters.”

💡 American singer-songwriter based in Nashville, but Lambring grew up in rural Indiana.

🎸 Genres - folk-pop and indie-folk with a distinctive Americana sound.

📝 She actually began her career by writing songs for other artists in Nashville for five years, but ended up frustrated with the music industry, so she withdrew from it completely and worked as a waitress, amongst other things, until the legendary songwriter Tom Douglas encouraged her to return.

Her way back became to her own debut album.

This weekend meant more to me than I can convey. So much of the journey from living the stories that became Heirloom to releasing it as a record has been done in quiet. I’m still catching up to the ways these songs are now a thing we share. Saturday night was wildly special—y’all sold out the show and chanted curses at Bill Lee, one of my fave songwriters opened my show, and I got to make music with some of my favorite people. There’s plenty more row to hoe, but this was a hellllluva respite.
