What if reconnecting with yourself could start with a plant? 🌿 KA! was created from a belief that nature holds an intelligence worth listening to, and that the right botanicals can help create more space for connection, presence, and feeling. This is what we’re building toward. A more connected world, one rooted in nature. 😌🌀 #kaempathogenics #empathogenicwellness #founderstories #wellness #founderstory

KA! is rooted in a pretty simple idea: the environment around you can influence how you feel, connect, and move through the world. 🌎🌿 That’s one reason Colorado has always felt like such a natural home for us. There’s something about the combination of nature, health-conscious living, community, and an active lifestyle here that mirrors so much of what we believe in as a brand. So yes, our botanicals come from remarkable places around the world. But Colorado has become an important part of the KA! story, from where we craft our products to the environment that continues to inspire what we’re building. 🏔️🌿 #lifeonka #kaempathogenics #feelgood #longmontcolorado #colorado

Empathogens aren’t about escaping your feelings - they’re about staying present with them. In this conversation with Stephanie Wang, founder of KA! Empathogenics, we explore how empathogens like kanna differ from psychedelics and why subtle nervous system support can be more sustainable than intense, peak experiences. This episode dives into: • Why empathogens increase emotional availability without dissociation • How chronic stress quietly keeps so many people in survival mode • Why healing is about daily integration, not intensity • What it means to build a relationship with a plant - and with yourself This is a grounded, thoughtful conversation about regulation, presence, and long-term healing. When people hear plant medicine, they often assume psychedelic - but that’s not always the case. In this conversation with @ka.empathogenics founder @stephaniewang5d , we break down an important distinction: Kanna is psychoactive, not psychedelic. It works with the nervous system - not by taking you out of your body, but by helping calm, regulate, and restore it over time. No hallucinations. No dissociation. Just subtle support for nervous system resilience and emotional regulation. This is about redefining what plant medicine can look like in modern wellness - grounded, intentional, and accessible. In this conversation, Stephanie Wang explains why kanna is often compared to MDMA - and why that comparison only goes so far. Both are described as empathogens, but the experience is fundamentally different. Kanna isn’t synthetic, doesn’t contain amphetamines, and doesn’t override the body. Instead, it works subtly - inviting awareness, presence, and connection without pulling you out of yourself. This is about nuance, relationship, and respecting how the nervous system actually responds. Comment 448 and we’ll send you the full episode link.

What if emotional resilience isn’t about pushing harder - but regulating your nervous system? In this episode, we sit down with Stephanie Wang, founder of KA! Empathogenics, to explore kanna, an ancient South African plant traditionally used to support mood, connection, and calm. We talk empathogens, serotonin, daily stress, and why subtle, consistent practices often matter more than extreme interventions. Comment 448 and we’ll send you the full episode.
