Want your wedding portraits to feel a little more editorial?

It’s not just about the pose. It’s about the way everything comes together — the light, the location, the composition, the movement, the fashion, and the way you feel in the moment.

A few things I look for when creating portraits with that effortless editorial feel:

• Choose locations with strong architecture, texture, or interesting lines
• Look for beautiful, directional light rather than simply the brightest spot
• Let movement replace overly posed moments — walking, turning, adjusting a veil, letting a dress move
• Think about composition beyond just the couple — negative space and the surrounding environment can completely change an image
• Give attention to fashion and details; the way a dress falls or a veil catches the light can become part of the photograph
• Most importantly, leave room for the unexpected. The most compelling images often happen in between the poses.

The goal isn’t to make your wedding look like a styled shoot.

It’s to make the real moments of your day feel intentional, artful, and unmistakably yours.

We had Tricky Bobby lead a relaxing sound bath to end our flow!

• Transportation up to 3 hours from LA 🚗📍

A San Francisco Love Story.

If a dog was going to be a danger and a risk, this is where you’d see it. Right here and now in this video when a stranger is sitting eye level with him after weeks of being in the shelter while the rest of the dogs bark in stress.

So why did the toy lock in my opinion of him?? Because he knew in that moment that his nervous system was reaching its threshold and he chose LITERALLY THE ONLY HEALTHY TOOL AVAILABLE TO HIM IN THERE. The one and only toy he had. To chew on. To try and engage with me. He wasn’t taught that.. that’s in his nature!!! PEOPLE!!!!!!! This 👏 is 👏 behavior 👏 based 👏 evidence! 👏

Our city is not using the proper channels to determine safety and euthanasia lists. So now the community can take it and turn it around. If you know ANYONE.. who could know ANYONE that would be willing to foster this sweet boy, I’m behind you 100% for training and adjustment. I think this guy would make a wonderful companion. And I think he deserves a shot.

This weekend I learned more about how dogs end up on the euthanasia list.

And it’s not always what you think.

It’s often:
• Not repeat offenders
• Not dogs with bite histories
• Not dogs who are too sick

Sometimes it’s simply just dogs who:
• Bark
• Sound a little intimidated
• Seem guarded in a stressful moment
• Communicate discomfort

In other words… dogs being dogs.

Nine is on the euthanasia list for the behaviors above.

Here’s what I actually saw:
• No bite history
• No forward movement
• No incidents
• Clear communication
• Ability to co-regulate
• Attempt to self regulate
• And… play.

In a shelter environment.
With noise, pressure, and stress all around him.

That is not a dangerous dog.
That is a resilient dog.
