THREE NEW RELEASES OUT TODAY ON CONSTELLATION Today we welcome new albums from Montréal artists working across electronic, electroacoustic and ambient music. LIGHT CONDUCTOR: Sequence Three CST193 · 180g LP / CD / DL The Montréal psych-ambient synth droners return with their first album in five years, and the final instalment in the trilogy that began with Sequence One in 2019. Built from vintage synths and analogue electronics, Sequence Three pushes Light Conductor’s signature slowburn sound towards darker, more disquieting territory. COURANT ZÉRO: Solari CST194 · 180g LP / CD / DL Solari marks the return of Montréal multimedia artist Maxime Corbeil-Perron to purely recording-based electronic music, following several years devoted to film and audiovisual work. His debut as Courant Zéro brings ambient, IDM, glitch and noise into a richly detailed album where melody and rhythm constantly shift against an unsettled electronic palette. The video for Courant Zéro’s “En deçà du réel” premieres today. An excerpt is included in this carousel, with the full video available to watch on Constellation’s YouTube channel. STEVE BATES: An Infinite Antenna CST195 · 180g LP / CD / DL On his second Constellation album, Montréal sound artist Steve Bates expands his field-recording and signal-bending practice, giving greater space to melody and texture. Synths, deconstructed drum machines, electric guitar and radiostatic blur move through a densely layered collection of fragments and environmental traces. All three albums are available now on LP, CD and digital. Order the complete set as part of Constellation’s Fall 2026 electronic bundle and get 25% off all formats. Listen and order at cstrecords.com + link in bio. @wearelightconductor @stephen__ramsay @breakglassstudios @bates_steve @courant.zero @maximecorbeilperron @rarelyunable @secretlydistribution

------------------------------ THE SIGNAL IS OPEN ! Somewhere between cosmic drone, analog psychedelia and kosmische drift, Light Conductor use their machines to open passages rather than simply play songs. With Sequence Three, Jace Lasek, Stephen Ramsay and Olga Goreas bring a trilogy launched in 2019 to its conclusion, without really closing the door behind them. Five slow-moving pieces where frequencies become landscapes and pulses feel like transmissions captured from somewhere far beyond our usual coordinates. Our review of Sequence Three is now online at solenopole.com And this week, the album is also travelling through the airwaves: Light Conductor is currently featured in Solénoïde – Blender Session 74. The cosmos is never silent. You just have to tune the receiver. #lightconductor #constellationrecords #solenopole #ambient #kosmische #psychedelicelectronic #musiquesimaginogenes #dieppe #valdesaane @wearelightconductor @cstrecords
