GDS Camp Shanghai. Two days of turning a vision into reality. Court, weight room, journaling, philosophy, and making everyone tea.

Seeing it come to life and watching the campers lock in was one of the most rewarding things I’ve done. It was also the first time the whole GDS team got to meet in person — everyone who’s been working with me all together in one place. That was special.

We covered everything — defensive principles, shooting footwork, nutrition, weight room exercise selection, mobility, how to program, morning and evening routines, training philosophy, and peace of mind in an age of comparison and distraction.

One of my favorite segments was an evening together reading and journaling. Since the camp, many of the campers have taken this habit to heart and continued to journal on their own — not only keeping track of their training, but also practicing gratitude.

Campers got first access to exclusive GDS goods — journals, sleeveless, training camp tee, reversible training jersey, along with a set of @gdsgoods blue light blocking glasses and red & infrared light.

Ended with a Q&A where they could ask anything.

Even though it was just two days, the feedback was amazing and blessed to have crossed paths and help them on their journeys.

First ever GDS Camp. Let’s keep going.

“进步不能停”
GDS Training Camp

Came for the basketball, left with so much more.

Learned plenty of on-court defensive techniques, but arguably even more valuable lessons off the court — strong mindset, staying present, the power of journaling, and an unexpected appreciation for Da Hong Pao tea 👀

Control what you can control.

Thankful to Oliver, Adam, David and the whole GDS squad for an unforgettable weekend. And special thanks to Stephen for translating 😂🙏

Gains don’t stop!
