Alhamdulillāh.

To my husband 🥹🥹

Allah (SWT) wrote our names beside each other exactly the way he intended.

How can I explain a love that starts with Allah before it ever starts with us?
Because this isn’t just romance.
This is sakinah, sabr & mercy.
This is 2 people choosing Allah every single day.

Ali...babe
You are my best friend. My peace.
My protector. My safe place.

You’re the kind of man who walks through life with strength in his shoulders but softness in his heart. YOU are such a man. Anyone who meets you can’t help but love you… just real. In all seriousness it’s hard, yet gentle & sincere.

With the rest of the world, you’re tough.
With me... you’re home.
We laugh & laugh & joke & laugh
We fall asleep talking about everything and nothing.
We make dua & pray together.
And remind each other of Allah when this dunya gets loud. We give each other sabr (patience) when life gets heavy.
You challenged me from day 1 and I know I challenged you. We challenge each other to become better Muslims before better spouses.

I never knew love could feel this real & safe.
I never knew I could crave someone’s presence and still find so much peace in their silence.

I pray loving you for the sake of Allah SWT (GOD) is what carries us into Jannah (heaven).
I pray these butterflies never leave & 50 years from now I still reach for your hand the same way I do today and our children witness a love that teaches them what mercy looks like.
When Allah SWT calls us home, I pray He is pleased with us...
And we leave this world pleased with each other..
All I’ve ever wanted Allah placed in you. A love
where Allah is always at the center.

I’m so thankful my dad got to see me get married to the love of my life. Alhamdullilah!

“And among His signs is that He created for you from yourselves spouses that you may find tranquility in them; and He placed between you affection and mercy.”
Qur’an 30:21

inshaallah we will always strive to be that for one another.

Alhamdullilah for every test that led me to you & every unanswered prayer that made room for a better one.
For every closed door that guided me to the man Allah had already written for me.

Forever A&Z inshaAllah. 🫶🏽
