Please vote tomorrow in the runoff and support Stephen Goldfinch for Attorney General!

Allison and I voted early for Stephen last week because we know he is tough on crime, stands up for what’s right, and has spent his career serving the people of South Carolina.

Unfortunately, some of the same groups that spread false attacks against me are now targeting Stephen. South Carolinians deserve better than dishonest politics.

Two weeks ago, voters sent a clear message that they weren’t buying those tactics. Let’s send that same message again tomorrow.

Get out and vote for Stephen Goldfinch for Attorney General!

A lot of people will talk about @stephengoldfinch during this election season. But those of us who know him personally know there’s more to the story. We know (and love!) the woman and children standing beside him. I’ve known Renee for more than 15 years. We first met when she walked into my retail store. Before long, she was not only a customer but a friend. She even volunteered to help me in the store during those early years. Over time, our friendship grew through church, raising children, horseback riding lessons, celebrations, and everyday life. I have affectionately called her “Goldie” for so long that sometimes I forget everyone else knows her as Renee. We don’t talk every day. Life gets busy, kids going in all directions, and seasons change. But she’s the kind of friend you can count on. Some days flowers “just show up” on my porch and other times it’s dinner or a basket of fresh-picked produce from the garden. I even remember one summer when she picked okra, cut it all up for me, and dropped it off ready to be fried. She’s taken home stacks of tablecloths from women’s ministry events, washed, folded, boxed, and returned them ready for the next gathering.Years ago, she brought the kids a Butterfly Garden to line up with Easter Sunday and the empty tomb. It was a season where they were all still really little and I didn’t think I could keep one more thing alive but she insisted it would be worth it, and it was. A hundred acts of friendship over many years. And never once asking for recognition. Then Whitman became critically ill. Our family was surrounded by an incredible community of people who prayed, encouraged, supported, and carried us through those years. We will always be grateful for each one of them. And somehow, Renee became an even better friend. She helped organize a prayer service in our front yard. She would text me from the grocery store asking for a list of things we needed and refused to take no for an answer. Put together a care package filled with gluten-free snacks because our family’s dietary needs had suddenly changed.

A big THANK YOU to all the candidates who joined us today for the Greenville and Spartanburg Republican Parties Run-UP to the Runoff Candidate Forum.

It was a full and productive day with candidates taking the time to engage with voters - Governor candidates, Pamela Evette and Alan Wilson, Attorney General candidates Stephen Goldfinch and David Stumbo and Commissioner of Agriculture candidate Cody Simpson while Danny Ford II sent his regrets due to a scheduling conflict.

We were also absolutely thrilled to have our State Treasurer, Curtis Loftis, join us for the event!

Runoff Election Day is Tuesday, June 23rd. GO VOTE!!!

Hey there! I wanted to extend an invitation.

I’m hosting a casual happy hour from 6:00–7:30 PM for my brother-in-law, Stephen Goldfinch, who is currently in a runoff for South Carolina Attorney General.

We’d love for you to stop by, meet Stephen, ask questions, and hear firsthand about his campaign and vision for South Carolina. It will be a relaxed meet-and-greet with drinks and light refreshments.

This is an important election, and we want to help make sure everyone is informed before voting. Early voting begins next week, and Election Day is Tuesday, June 23.

Feel free to bring a friend or anyone else who may be interested. Casual attire is perfect.

If you think you can make it, would you mind sending me a quick RSVP so I can plan accordingly for drinks and refreshments?

We’d love to see you there!

People have asked me who to vote for in the Attorney General runoff that’s coming up June 23. Here’s my opinion:
Stephen Goldfinch is the best, most qualified and well-rounded candidate. Here’s why: the AG’s office has 3 divisions.
1. Criminal Division. Both Goldfinch and Stumbo are experienced prosecutors and I believe that both candidates would equally enforce the law. So they’re even here.
2. The Civil and Administrative Division.
This is where Goldfinch starts to pull ahead. His law practice focuses exclusively on representing companies and citizens against the government. He has fought over-burdensome regulations and has brought billions of dollars in economic impact back to SC by fighting these rules and regulations. If he can do that in a private capacity, imagine what he can do to fight for SC. And God-forbid we end up with Gavin Newsome or Kamala Harris in 2028, we’ll need an AG that knows how to fight the government.
3. Legislative and Opinions Division.
This is where the AG’s office interacts with the General Assembly to ensure our laws are constitutional and can be defended up to the Supreme Court. Goldfinch serves in the senate now and his subcommittee is the subcommittee that deals with the AG’s office and the constitutionality of our laws.
Bottom line, both are godly men, both are qualified to prosecute cases, but only Goldfinch has done everything the AG’s office does. That’s why I’m voting for @stephengoldfinch

My sweet little neighbor Claire rang my doorbell and said she got a Goldfinch stuffy and it reminded her of my brother-in-law signed that’s running for Attorney General @stephengoldfinch ! He is everywhere in South Carolina. Don’t forget to vote June 9.
