I’m truly overwhelmed by the response from Londoners to my exhibition. It’s an honor that the themes of this show resonated so deeply with Black people 3,000 miles away.

@artotellondonhoxton has been an incredible host, and I couldn’t have done this without @blairnaima she helped bring my vision to life.

And last but not least, a huge thank you to @hennessy for their generous support.

There’s so much I love about how this event came together, but nothing means more to me than hearing how the artwork makes people feel. I’m committed to continuing to challenge perceptions of African Americans around the world and to using photography to celebrate the incredible people I’ve come to know and love.

"In my most natural state, l'll be introverted for say, six days in a row, and then on the seventh day l'Il become very extroverted... Then l'Il have to go back inside myself... It's something I can't really control. It's a bit like the ocean and the tides.”
