Shout out to the wonderful Suitsupply Atlanta team for continually striving for greatness, working together, and rising above any challenges thrown at us (there have been several), and always looking out for each other. I couldn’t ask for a kinder, stylish, more sarcastic team and I love them! Keep up the great work everyone as we move into newness.

Here are some pointers to keep in mind from a professional stylist/ wardrobe consultant!

Dressing well isn’t about being flashy, expensive, or perfect; it’s about intention. You’re making choices that show you care about how you present yourself. Here are some things to keep in mind:

1. Find Your Perfect Fit-

The best-looking suit in the world will still look poor if it doesn’t fit well. Focus on clean lines: your shoulder seam should sit right on top of your shoulder, your sleeves shouldn’t swallow your hands, and your trousers should sit at your waist, not your hips. A good tailor is a gentleman’s secret weapon.

2. Start With the Classics-

Before patterns, colors, and trends master the basics. Navy or charcoal suit; white or light blue shirt; simple dark shoes, these pieces are timeless because they just work. Once you’ve got the foundation, then you can experiment.

3. Keep It Clean and Intentional-

A gentleman looks put together, even in casual clothes. That means clothes are pressed, shoes are clean, nails trimmed, fragrance subtle. The small details say the most.

4. Choose Quality Over Quantity-

You don’t need a closet full of clothes guys, just a small rotation of well-made staples. One great jacket is better than five flimsy ones. Think natural fabrics (wool, cashmere, linen) and solid structured shoes.

5. Confidence Is the Finishing Touch-

When you dress well, you’re telling the world you respect both yourself and the people you interact with. Stand tall, shake hands firmly, and speak with clarity. The clothes start the conversation, you carry it.

The goal isn’t to look like someone else it’s to look like the best version of yourself. Dressing like a gentleman is a daily habit of choosing refinement over convenience. Once you build that habit, style becomes effortless.
