POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Low stakes, high support, and a lot of laughs. 🎭 Last week’s JAMIT DAMIT proved once again how special this community is.

From regular stage veterans to brave first-timers stepping onto the stage for the very first time, the support in the room was off the charts.

Huge love to everyone who improvised their hearts out, joined the audience jam, or just cheered from the seats. You made the atmosphere magic.

Check out a few snapshots from the night! 📸➡️

JAMIT DAMIT! ⚡️
Improv Comedy Show & Audience Jam

Nothing is scripted. Nothing is planned. Just a mix of improvisers — some seasoned regulars, some stepping on stage for their very first show ever — bringing you a night of hilarious, unscripted, short-form scenes built entirely on the spot.

JAMIT DAMIT is a low-stakes, high-support space. Whether it’s someone’s fiftieth show or their first, the goal is the same: cheer each other on and create a warm, welcoming atmosphere for improvisers at every stage of their journey.

Then it’s your turn. Stick around for the IMPROV JAM, where anyone in the audience can step up and join the spontaneity. No experience, no prep, no problem. Rather stay in your seat? Also perfectly fine, just sit back and enjoy the unpredictable fun.

📅 Friday 31 July 2026
🎭 19h30 (Doors open 19h00)
📍 Log Cabin next to the Chilled Market at The Range, Orpen Road, Tokai
💸 R100 online/R120 at door

Febmarchapril. In a jumbled order.
Sam and I had a brilliant time at KKNK (as did all our other friends, I just don't take as many photos as I should.)
Dara slept peacefully in the car at Bazique (and nowhere else because I snore, the tent kept collapsing, and there was loud music 24/7).
I saw nice things, a theme that has persisted even till now. There are cathedrals everywhere for those with eyes to see.
The clowns went to Bazique.
I made things and put safety first (mostly.)
Sam and I saw stuff.
CJ Langenhoven se graf het my doodstil laat staan, tussen alles. Dit voel vreemd om perongeluk op hom af te kom.
I grew plants! (they have subsequently died.)

We just wrapped “SCENES THAT POP” workshop with NYC’s Michael Bird, and the energy was electric.

A masterclass in trusting the impulse. We ditched the “perfect start” for bold choices and playful adaptation.

Huge thanks to Michael and to everyone who showed up to play!

🎭 UNSCRIPTED: A Night of Improv Comedy

Presented by Oops On PurpoSe

We’re at it again.

No scripts.

No lines.

No safety net.

Just bold, fast, completely made-up-on-the-spot comedy.

From scenes spoken entirely in questions…

To outrageously misused props…

To dramatic plot twists no one saw coming…

Expect high commitment. Big characters. Quick thinking. And moments that could never be repeated again.

Our host will be calling on you, the audience, for suggestions throughout the night, so bring your wildest ideas.
And if you look particularly confident… you may just find yourself part of the action.

Every show is completely unique. What happens on stage exists for one night only.

📅 Show Dates

🎭 20 March – Milnerton Playhouse (tickets via: milnertonplayers.co.za - link in bio)

🎭 2 April – The Masque Theatre (tickets via Quicket: Link in the bio)
