here is a view of my ‘office’ this morning 😎

Reflecting on a thoroughly enjoyable day four yesterday at @decorex_international 2026 edition on @roomzerozero business, catching up with valued former colleagues, former team members, bed industry ‘competitor’ brands and prospective supply chain partners from a range of FF&E super-brands - just a privilege to be in that luxurious space of wonderful new products, materials, finishes, forms and functions.

Towards the end of the day, there was a really inspiring talk from some highly influential interior design industry stalwarts in both the residential & commercial (contract / hotel / hospitality) space incl. @hillhouseinteriors , @joliestudioltd and @stephenson_wright Wright - great to have caught up with @helenbygraves , to have met @frankyrousell for the first time, as well as to hear some great advice from Natalie Stephenson, not least because their advice was mainly directed at younger interior design businesses and their leaders, offering valuable insight, which resonated with my ‘nearly’ two decades in the hotel supply chain with brands incl. @sleepeezee and @beautyresthospitality - keep up the great work and we look forward to working alongside you all to meaningfully contribute to the excellent guest experience offered by spatially and sensorily well designed luxury hotel spaces in the UK and worldwide!

Yesterday, opening the doors to their home, @henryprideauxinteriordesign and @amy_paice welcomed designers and press for a special brunch celebrating the launch of our new Averly and Pinto Trimmings collections. Joined by Emily Mould, guests were invited to explore a richly layered world of pattern and colour.

Following the Creative Growth Summit, guests stepped into a room filled with established brands, industry leaders and fellow creatives, with an opportunity to move beyond familiar circles and put what they had learned into action.

The cocktail reception's energy was a reflection of what happens when talented people come together with curiosity and openness.
