POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
@officialhattahdesertrace through the years šŸ

As we head into Hattah week, I thought it’d be fun to look back at how much this event has shaped my journey and how the moto industry transforms our ā€œlittle townā€ each year.
2011. It all started with a simple point-and-shoot camera, capturing the action purely for the love of it.
2013 - 2015. Seeing my photos published in @dirtactionmag and @adbmagazine and on the official posters.
2017. After missing 2016 while living in Melbourne, I was back home and back where I belonged. At Hattah.
2018. Fulfilling a dream by lining up and racing Hattah myself. šŸ“· @knossy @jpmediaaus
2019. Missing the event because work got in the way.
2020. No Hattah, as COVID put the race on hold.
2021 - 2026. Back where I belong, behind the lens, documenting one of Australia’s biggest off-road races.
What started with a little point-and-shoot camera has turned into covering the event with professional camera gear and sharing the stories of riders chasing the same dream.

Looking back, it’s pretty crazy to see how much this race has been part of my life. Not only has my own journey changed over the years, but so has Hattah itself. From the growing popularity of the event to the incredible depth of rider talent, from local club riders to some of the best international talent. It’s been amazing to watch it continue to evolve year after year.
Along the way, I’ve watched mates take on their first Hattah, celebrate podiums, battle injuries, and keep coming back year after year.

Here’s to another Hattah week, making a few more memories, and capturing the moments that make this event so special.

I’d love to hear your thoughts too. What’s the biggest change you’ve noticed at Hattah over the years?

Welcome to the Australian Army Family. šŸ™

It was an absolute privilege to watch the March Out of 45 and 46 Platoons, Delta Coy at 1 RTB Kapooka yesterday.

I'm genuinely proud of this young man, I first met on Kokoda two years ago.

He will go on to do great things so long as he keeps that head screwed on the way it is right now.

I actually felt a bit emotional watching the parade. I love the military, I love this country and it was so good to our next generation of young men and women earn their title of Australian Soldier. šŸ˜ŠšŸ™

I haven't been to Kapooka since 1990/91. It felt good to be back amongst the family who helped build me into who I am today.

The Sargeant on the bus explained 1RTB 'the Home of the Soldier' to everyone. He said "welcome and for those who have served, welcome home.'

I found that surprisingly emotional but it felt good to know I was home, even just for a visit.
