So long, farewell to the Sound of Music! I guess it’s finally time for my much overdue Sound of Music post! I had the most wonderful experience performing with Herriman Arts Council this past summer! This was genuinely one of the best shows I’ve ever been in and I miss it dearly!

The Sound of Music holds a very special place in my heart! I’ve always loved the movie and the music and being able to perform it live every night was a dream! Liesl has also always been a huge dream role of mine! I’ve actually gotten called back for Liesl in other productions before so getting to finally play her was a dream! I absolutely love her with my whole heart!

My favorite part of this experience would have to be the people I got to work with! From the production crew, to my cast mates, to the orchestra, and even the volunteers! I miss everyone dearly and it wouldn’t have been the same show without them! Thank you Shelby for being the most wonderful director and bringing this show to life and becoming my stage aunt, Cagney for helping us learn this music and for being my bestie, Isabel for choreographing the most wonderful dances and for being such a joy to work with, Emily for being so fun to work with and bringing the magic to life, and to Kristin for being the most wonderful stage manager and helping everything run smooth! Also a huge thanks to all of my cast mates and stage family! I love you all so much and miss you! We went to Fan Expo Chicago this past weekend and had the opportunity to meet the amazing Mr. T. He was super nice and engaging with his fans and I am so excited to have him meet the great fans in Salt Lake. You guys will love him. @fanexpochicago @farrisgerard @officialipitythefool

WOW!!! I can’t believe it’s time to make this post already! It feels like yesterday I got cast as Ariel but that was about 4 months ago! What an incredible journey!

I’ve been so fortunate to be able to play my all time favorite princess and be able to share her story! The little mermaid has always been my favorite movie since I was little! I know 5 year old me is screaming!

Thank you to Draper historic theatre for a wonderful production! A huge thank you to my director Danny, my music director Emily, my assistant director Annie, our producer Mindy, our stagehands Jenny and Emily, and everyone else involved! I’d also like to thank my beautiful counterpart, Samantha for being the best and I loved doing this with her! Thank you to everyone who came!
