POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED
This was no ordinary market. It was a collective — and without each other, there simply wouldn’t have been an event.

The idea began back in March. More than six months of conversations, back-and-forth ideas, planning, changing plans, and bringing different growers together with one goal: to create one of the biggest in-person dahlia tuber events in the country.

Seeing it finally come to life filled our hearts more than we can put into words. Growers and dahlia lovers travelled from all over the country, meeting each other in person, finally putting faces to the brands they have followed online, and sharing one roof for one simple reason — our love of dahlias.

None of it would have been possible without the incredible people who worked alongside us.

To Esther @larksmeadowflowers , for going above and beyond as our event correspondent;
Sha @_lakesphotography for capturing the day so beautifully; and Jason @badpandaproductions , for creating this wonderful short film — your dedication, especially with a day-old newborn waiting at home, meant more than you know.

To @classicflyers.nz thank you for giving us a home for the day and making everything from the venue and parking to the café and security run so smoothly.

To our generous sponsors — @daltonsltd , who went above and beyond with a crate-load of prizes; @sustaina_grow through Sally of @chaos.blooms ; & @tuigardenandhome through Kaille and GG of @thepennyfarms — thank you for adding even more generosity to the day.

And then there are the people we could never fit into one post — our staff, volunteers, families, friends and the little teams working quietly behind every grower and every brand.

You were the backbone of this event.

Most of all, thank you to the dahlia community who came through those doors. You reminded us why we started this in the first place.

From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for believing in this collective, for showing up, and for growing this community alongside us.

Together, we made something very special.
