The FCT Women Affairs Coordinator, CityBoy Movement, Dr. Ene Adugba. organized the first edition of Kuje Women Empowerment Program under the Women’s Wing of CBM.

This impactful program successfully empowered 1,000 women in Kuje, through a combination of financial support, practical empowerment, free skill acquisition, and specialized business training, equipping them with the tools to elevate their businesses and thrive.

The event was graced by The National Director of Women Affairs, Hon. Ummusalma Rabiu, alongside the Deputy National Director of Women Affairs, Hon. Sophie Uzodimma, and the FCT Deputy State Coordinator, CityBoyMovement.

A strategic engagement at the National Institute for Hospitality and Tourism (NIHOTOUR). 🇳🇬

Miss Tourism Nigeria 2026, themed Peace Through Tourism and produced in strategic partnership with the Visit Nigeria Initiative, met with the Director-General, Aare (Dr.) Abisoye Fagade, and the leadership team of NIHOTOUR @nihotour_nigeria to formalize collaboration for the 2026 edition.

Key outcomes include:

• Institutional endorsement of Miss Tourism Nigeria 2026
• Integration of structured hospitality and etiquette training during camp
• Launch of the “Taste of Culture – Flavours of the 36 States + FCT” initiative
• Potential inclusion of outstanding indigenous cuisines in NIHOTOUR’s national culinary publication
• Confirmation of attendance at the Grand Finale

As agreed, this is day two of our strategy sessions at @visitnigeriaofficial. I love the idea of building in public so you can see what we are doing and also understand our processes better. It also gives you the public the ability to help steer the process and ensure that you are part of it from day 1. We wanted to bring you into our conversations about insecurity, the steps that we are taking, the steps that we want to take, and also to appeal to you guys if there are any suggestions that you think could make travel safer, not just for tourists, but for Nigerians.
